Very close to the park entrance, we stayed once in Hotel Am Park. It not the cheapest hotel you can find but it was clean and nice. And as said it's really about 50 metres from the maingate. So you will save the parking fee by leaving your car on the hotel parking.

Great pictures from Disneyland aswell. It's true, nowhere in Europe people queue better than in the UK. I was amazed about the discipline at the waiting rows in the UK parks. I just found following link to a video of the official opening of ToT. I wish I was there during that opening. The effect on the tower were just great. Link

Great report. I'm looking forward to my first visit to Knoebels in 1.5 week. Fingers crossed that Flyin' turns will be open by then, although I in fact gave up hope that it will be.

Great report so far. I'm looking forward to part 2. My next visit since 2 years is scheduled for August this year. I'm really looking forward to it. I guess best way to ride Crush is to head to it at opening time. ^ After X-mas holidays till end March, on weekdays and not in 'our' or neighbouring countries' February holidays, you should be fine. Of course it can be unpleasantly cold in those months.
