Okay, while a two year old topic get more attention than this, I will post an update. Update: Year 2 Mid-Year While Year 2 is in full swing, here is a 9 photo update from the park over the past couple of days. The back of the park is still not as populated as the front of the park. MoRe SoOn =D Legend is also in the HalloDays section, and from the surroundings doesn't look like it will stay much longer. Back in the HalloDays section of the park is Pumpkin Toss, a trailer hitched Disk-O. It really is a shame that Logger's Run is the only way to get wet at Raum Park. =[ Twister and Gravity come really close! The park should probably do something about that.... Twister has been running great recently, but patrons just over look the coaster too.... Poor Fireball gets overlooked too much! Rumor has it, Fireball was pawned off of the Russian Black Market...0_o The Kissing Tower has been really busy recently. Maybe peeps are trying to say they want more tower rides? Hmmm.... As you can see, the front of the park is EXTREMELY crowded!

Yea, Hex Editing it is. It really is easy. And if you follow directions exactly, you shouldn't have a problem doing it! And thanks! Soon.... Wal-Mart is a competitor to Elitch's and Lakeside. Well, with a launch from the station, 3. If you include the Zac Spin and Gangster, 5. What can I say, I love launched coasters! But it's original, huh It's not a Maverick recreation, but has some of the same elements (first drop, airtime hill, horseshoe roll, and strangle dive). And there isn't a second launch. I was going for more of a terra coaster feel. And thank you! The Zac Spin is based off of another design in another park called Nexus. Update: Year 2 Opening Week Gangster opened this week with rave reviews! Besides Gangster, other rides in the park are still very popular. Like Cougar. It hides behind all of the trees and lays low the ground too. Thanks for the comments! More soon. ...and into the breaks... After some more turns, and an S-hill, is the airtime hill, a sharp turn under the station, and into the horse shoe rolls...right over the queue! After the drop, right into a 90 degree turn! Station The airtime in the back seat, stunning! The train sits in the block, waiting to start its journey... Gangster is up and ready to run! Year 2 is now started and crowds are barreling in!

Update! New ride rumors are flying around everywhere! Some say a Vertical Drop, some say another accelerator, some say a Mack Spinning coaster. Who knows? But we DO know for sure is that Boardwalk Bullet has been sold off to a small park in Texas. BB will be closed, reconstructed, and rebuilt at its new location. Year 1 Mid-Season Also, other rides are said to be up for sale... More soon! The final stages... At least there is no wrecking ball... This Week: By the wooden wall in front of the queue, I am guessing the deconstruction process has begun. Last Week: Bullet was closed all of this week.... But Raum Park made a better choice by removing the coaster. Maybe selling it will put some money in the bank for their new one??? It has its good and bad days... It isn't like Boardwalk Bullet is a bad ride...

^Yes, that was kinda what I was going for, a restriction. I am thinking about releasing the scenario (with out the rides and such) for other people to enjoy making their own parks! I could expand west, over the gap, but Im not entirely sure I want to do that quite yet. It would be interesting how people could make it over the gap.... OH! Some hacking has been going on...and I have a great ride up my sleeve... EDIT: Also, I have been working with logos for Raum Park. I can't find anything I like, if you want to submit one, do it!

Over the past couple months I have been working on this park. It started as me making a scenario. One where you can only use 1/2 of the park map, and there is a road/tram system going in an 'H' patter threw the middle of the park! The catch, you couldn't destroy, tamper, or modify the trams and 4H high walls. I started playing, and now it has become, RAUM PARK! Year 1 Opening More soon.... The Shrew is an airtime filled wild mouse that wraps around this beautiful lake. The vertical drop has awesome airtime! The tram system and roads are vital to public transportation. It really does go threw the middle of the park! Also, my version of Boardwalk Bullet is here too! A kids area is home to the only water ride at Raum Park. Also to Zoom, the first and only Intamin accelerator coaster for kids! The park has a small Halloween section. But home to a lot of thrill rides. Mad House is a Zac Spin. Take a spin on it! Mad House is a really fun family coaster too. Cougar is rumored to be the last B&M Inverted! It swoops low to the ground and hides behind the trees. Arguably the best coaster at Raum Park! The fastest, tallest, and much better than the one in New Jersey. Ultimate is the Intamin Accelerator Coaster. ...the rest of the park! And over the bridge we have.... In a lot of places, rides are tucked in behind trees. Like the Scrambler. It's a really fun ride! All of the inversions are painted dark green. Random, yes, doesn't change the ride much... Twister came from some park in California.... Some of the banking makes up for it. The infield is very vegetated, also has a few rides in it! It's quite rough in a few spots... Gravity, an S&S wooden coaster was one of the first to move into Raum Park too. The first coaster added to Raum Park. It is a coaster your entire family can enjoy! It's quite a fun ride. And great G's on the launch. Xtreame is an XL-2000 (X-Car/Launch) coaster from Maurer Söhne. Dance Dance is seen among entering. Since the park is quite big, and full of numerous rides, I will give you a quick overview of everything Raum Park has to offer. Hey, where is everyone going??? To Raum Park of course!!!

Taiga Park |RCT3| - DOWNLOAD
Twister II replied to coasterdude5's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You are going to add some more to Aurora Lights stadium, right? Like, adding in some more 'nature' looking things around the lake. Also, that I think the entrance (shown in first picture) would look much better in a light blue, blue, green, or turquoise. Another small suggestion is the bushes around the concessions. Instead of small green bushes, have the small red bush. Adds a little more color and flair to the area. Just my 2 cents. -

You should try adding in some CS Sets like, Aroundthehorns Catwalks. That would add a little more realism to your coasters. Just a thought.... -
The Official "TPR MidWest USA 2007" Trip Thread!
Twister II replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I'd say Whizzer was the best coaster at the park. If not one of the better steel coasters on the entire trip! -
This is what happens on that day with out a poncho. Im very very wet. 9.5hr wait for Maverick to open. Worth it.

SFGAM Lawsuit
Twister II replied to Airtime&Gravity's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Okay, she may have something here. If the lifeguard at the top of slide was new, or 'under-trained' (which is extremely doubtful) and let the kids sit next to each other, rather than across, then it would be SFGAmer's fault. Or During the enclosed tube part of the ride, a kid jumped over to the seat next to him. Which would not put SFGAmer at fault. and It's extremely unlikely too, but the kids fall off the open part of the slide. Opposite to where the tubes exit. -

Video - Xcelerator 100mph launch???
Twister II replied to Crazy4Coasters!'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm sure the launch is capable of well over 100mph. Doesn't mean you'd actually survive it though. You would have to. Think about it. If a train was launched, and a split second later a computer/mechanic malfunction and for some strange reason the ride accelerates more than it should, the ride has to be safe. They don't want dead patrons on their hands!
