I am not the type of person to do many photo TR's, but considering there aren't many of storybook land and 2 huge milestones (my 600th and my daughter's 1st credit) I figured why not. So here goes: When my wife asked me what I wanted to do this weekend in the middle of the week, of course I said "I want my 600th". So she said go ahead and plan a trip to where you want. Well work complications did not allow me to do the original trip (a whole weekend hitting all the NYC parks), so I decided to go to Ocean City NJ and AC NJ to hit those parks and finish off all the credits there. We would leave on Saturday after I got done work. It couldn't of worked out better as we were there for the opening of Gillian's and Playland's opening at 1 pm. I hate pay per ride as I feel it burns a hole in your wallet, we knocked off both parks in an hours time each. Also not one for paying for a beach permit to hit the beach, we decided to head up to AC for free beach and steel pier. AC was a mistake. Man has it changed over the years. It's horrible. No pics of Steel Pier, just wanted the heck out of there. We hit steel pier real quick, tried the beach thing with the 2 year old (that wasn't happening) and left as quick as possible. Checked into the hotel and called it a day. Next day was Stroybookland. I was here as a small child myself, but don't remember it at all. Very nice kids park. Kids 33" and up can ride all but one ride with adults. Great shade everywhere in the park, very family friendly and great ride attendants. Overall I really liked this place. Not as good as Idlewild, but came close. Anyway onto the pics....Hope you enjoy. Sorry theres no more, tough to take pics with a wild 2 year old who really only wants daddy. PS. As stated on the first page Village Greens in PA is my current favorite, but they were affiliated with a second course Pine Creek in West Amwell NJ which was even better, but it looks like it closed up.

Everyone voted "no" to reject the future contract here at work, which was the right thing to do. The company counters by shutting down the shop and future productions on one of the oil tankers currently being built. More future lay-offs before the holidays are looming. F-this place.

Coaster Thrill Ride at the Puyallup Fair. Not as good as I had hoped for, but still nice to get an old credit far away and be at a good American Fair.

Thanks to Robb and Elissa and all the countless others (King's Dominion staff) who helped put this event together. We truly had a great time and it was good to meet some old friends from previous trip and make some new ones. Look forward to some future trips. Thanks Again, The Millers.

Hello Title Fairy. It's been awhile collecting 150 posts, but I have finally managed to do it. I can have my title change to "TPR's table shuffleboard pro".

Just need to clarify which type of shuffleboard. I play tabletop shuffleboard and am only 33. The ohter shuffleboard yes, but tabletop, not so much.

The bobsled run for the summer there is pretty fun. They have since 1980 built a new track, so now they have 2 runs. When I did it a few years ago, they wouldn't let you on the new track. but you did the 1980 run. The old track they take you halfway up and start from there, the sled is on wheels. They have a driver and a brakeman, so you just go along for the ride, but manage to get some decent speeds. I could post pictures of it when I get home from work.

I'm working to gain more vacation. We already get paid for the holiday period from 12/23-1/4, any additional time worked gains personal time. But it still sucks being here.
