Holy Crap, it has been 17 years since I was employed there??? On a side note, we did know somewhat of a large scale invert coming the next summer, and poof, Raptor showed up. So don't count out the employees knowing anything. Sometimes "big" secrets are hard to keep.......

That was one of my major concerns, the bottleneck this might cause upon entering the park from the tunnel. Also I understand from earlier that the pathway immediately to the left up the hill passed the Dodgem was to be closed if I am not mistaken??

If this is the area they are looking at building upon, I really don''t see much in the way of a coaster going there as MF already occupies pretty much all the available ground space with supports and such??

The RCDB link says that it will have 2 trains of 12 riders. I hope they get a good crew, or this could spell disaster for wait times.........

Personally I think this will be awesome and a great fit for this small park. Plus it will be the first thing people see coming into the park. On the other hand, so much for trying to get to the ride before the crowds get in, this will be the first thing after exiting the tunnel!! Hopefully the get the queue is built away from the entrance so as not to bottleneck getting into the park. While they are bringing back rides (Bayern Kurve) and saving rides (Turnpike), maybe they could get the Rotor back up on the hill where it belongs!!!!

I guess this might be where the ligtning striking twice comes into play, 2 major rides the same year.....only 200 miles apart.

Think about it, on the job page, wouldn't they specify that it takes 1 whole year of job training. That seems like a major detail to me, that they would not leave out. Why would it take a year of training? If you get hired you will be working on all the attractions in the park, 2 of which are already over 300 feet tall. They would be working on many rides, including the new ride. I think that posting tell us as much as the giga label did. Just adding more evidence towards how high it may be. If you noticed, that was exactly my point. Anyway, on some forum (I dont remember which one), someone said that there is a new permit titled "2010 Coaster+Station" on Hanover County's Site that estimates the completion date at December of 2010. For those of you who are a bit slow, if it was to be built and open for 2010, the completion date should have been estimated for December 2009 (they make it early to give construction some wiggle room, for weather, etc.) My personal opinion, maybe they are constructing a new section of the park around the Giga, and it will not be done until 2011 (more attractions, restrooms, food, etc.). Well they did build the Anaconda one summer and leave it halfassed until the next season!! LMAO
