  1. Lot's of cool entries. But, for me, I don't think anything is going to beat StormFreak's "Rick On Roll-er Coaster." If for no other reason than that it's actually within the realm of possibility to RickRoll Aerosmith's ride! Difficult? Well, yeah. But possible. Like, with a team of ninjas or something. Or if you were Micheal Eisner. Look, the point is, it could be done.
  2. So the little canoes swing from side to side, right? Kind of like a suspended coaster, except maybe not as wild? It still seems like a step in the right direction to me.
  3. Not really sure about the plot of land (The Pavilion, maybe?) But I know an Idiocracy reference when I hear one. Thanks for the photos. I suspect this park will be long gone before I get around to it.
  4. ^ Indeed it is Crown Colony House. Your turn.
  5. Yay! How about this one?
  6. ^ It is indeed. (Although, it's actually in Turner, Oregon.) Your move, Mr. Bond.
  7. Cool. How about this one.... Obfuscate
  8. ^ We have a winner! Doesn't much look like a Disney park, do it?
  9. That's not too reassuring. Wasn't it your picture? Oh well, I'll put up the one I started to before....
  10. True. Somehow, I always manage to put my TR's up when everyone is on an official trip. And I agree with Robb about the need for a story. But it doesn't necessarily need to be a crazy story. It could just be a certain, you know, flow. (But even random can work if you accentuate the randomness.) In any case, page views might be more important (and heartening) than actually replies. I try to respond to TR's I really enjoy, but there's not always very much to say, beyond "Nice TR."
  11. Edit: I had posted a picture, but since mousch is back, I'll save it for later.
  12. Pretty impressive pictures for a cellphone. What kind is it?
  13. Um, how could they not make "stunning profits"? They sell something completely evanescent for real, actual money.
  14. ^^ Yeah, that'll show 'em! You know, I've actually been to this place. Rode the coaster and everything. But I remember almost nothing about it, even after looking at this TR. Thanks for trying to jog my memory, though.
  15. Thanks for the report. Lot's of good photos in there. I really need to get to Timber Falls. In a way, it almost looks like my perfect park.
  16. See, the way I figure it: Since all Boomerangs are basically the same, and I've been on one, then I actually get 58 credits for that one ride. Of course, I've actually been on more than one, so.... In all seriousness, it's all meaningless anyway. I mean, who really cares how many wacky worms you've been on, other than you?
  17. To all those who think some lesser ride deserves the attention more: well, you're probably right. But from a marketing standpoint, this is a good opportunity to draw attention back to a ride that can still make a legitimate claim to being one of the world's best coasters. It's like this: "You know how you've heard that this ride is awesome? Now it's going to be even better!" Vs. 'You know that ride that sucks? Now it's going to be ridable!" Which of those will draw more people? (Which is what it's all about, ultimately.)
  18. Indeed, yes. Not only is Top Gun/Flight Deck my favorite suspended coaster (although, I have not been on Eagle Fortress), but it's one of my ten favorite coasters period! Thanks for the (ongoing) report!
  19. ^^ I completely agree. Although, of course, any or all of these make-overs could be completely botched. So we'll have to see. But I like the approach.
  20. ^ Yeah, like Disney does! Inspired by Space Mountain, perhaps?
  21. I honestly thought this was a joke, at first. But I think it's great when any park shows love to an older ride.
