  1. Tough choice. Kings Dominion has a great line up including i305, and Volcano which are two must-ride roller coasters . But BGW is also a beautiful park that you can't miss. I've noticed that Dominator has a pretty bad rattle in the front row which had my head vibrating like crazy. The back row is fine, however.
  2. Great to see that RMC is starting to build longer rides. This ride looks incredible!
  3. ^^I left around 6 o'clock, wish I stayed for the rest of the night. ^This is the old Smurf Mountain station circled in red.
  4. It's still there. I was actually looking at it yesterday wondering if they plan on doing anything with it. It's been sitting like that for years now.
  5. Amazing pictures, especially the night shots of Wildfire and Outlaw Run. SDC is on the top of the list of theme parks I still need to visit.
  6. I was at the park myself and I don't think today could've been more perfect. Beautiful weather and light crowds, and a lot of the rides were walk-ons (including i305 and Dominator). On the discussion of Volcano, today was probably the shortest I've ever waited for this ride. The light crowds may have played a role in this case, but I do think the new queue system is a major improvement and helped a lot. I also noticed the control booth was relocated as well, due to the new queue. To have Rebel Yell racing again was great, even though the right side was winning every time. Turning one side backwards again would've been great. On top of the paint job and running lights, the logo on the front cars looked good as well. Anaconda, besides the paint job and new wheels nothing new, still a rough ride and still nowhere as terrible as Shockwave (KD, please tear down that POS TOGO). Overall today was good and Kings Dominion did an amazing job with the park this year.
  7. ^Couldn't agree more. This has to be the shortest Intamin drop tower I've seen. On a side note, everything is looking great. As someone mentioned, add more trees and the area will look great!
  8. Great TR. I need to visit Dollywood sometime this year or next, as I've seen enough to convince myself to go. Also I haven't been to Santa's Land in years, I don't remember much except that the Rudicoaster was one of my first roller coasters ever.
  9. Great TR. After seeing all these improvements over the past few months, I'm thinking about going this weekend. I was planning to go sometime this summer.
  10. ^Looking good! I can't wait to see the running lights as well.
  11. Great pictures, Hanno. The ride looks great, I hope there will be a POV of it soon! Another amazing park that I need to visit.
  12. The concept trains look a lot like the B&M Sitdowns. Cool find!
  13. "My Paper Heart"-The All-American Rejects
  14. Me too. Besides the slight rattle in the turn between the interlocking corkscrews, I didn't find Kumba rough at all. The Hulk on the other hand, I'm sure that ride has had better days. I can't compare Kumba and Bizarro since I've yet to go to SFGAv, but out of the other B&M's, Kumba is probably the most intense one I've been on along with Montu. Dominator and Kraken are awesome rides but it doesn't come anywhere close.
  15. James Rebhorn passed away at 65. movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-news/james-rebhorn-dies-65-181324318.html
  16. I'm going to have to go with BGT's Kumba Montu and Sheikra.
  17. Everything about this ride is absolutely mind blowing. From the ride itself, to the station, it looks so amazing! I really can't wait to see this thing when it's done.
  18. "No Excuses"-Alice In Chains
  19. Thanks for sharing those. I had no idea Hurler's station used to look like that.
  20. I saw Asking Alexandria, August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, and Crown the Empire last night at the Fillmore in Silver Spring. Would've saw Born of Osiris too but thanks to the Fillmore's misleading show times, I missed them.
  21. The three I've been to, Great America, New England, and not so great America. And yes for me, I rank Great America at the top of those. Even though I haven't been since 2007, they had a great collection of coasters and flats. To top it off, they had the best atmosphere as well. New England is another great park, but I only got to spend three hours at the park, having two of those hours waiting in line for Bizarro and BDK. I'd like to go back and visit again so I could get more credits in. I don't have to explain why SFA is at the bottom of my list...
  22. Pretty much something like this....
  23. Vertical Video Syndrome! When will people learn to hold their phones horizontally and not vertically when recording a video?
  24. ^^Doesn't sound like they put a lot of sand in the track, which I'm definitely not complaining about.
