  1. Roller Coasters: Revive-Arrow Suspended and Loopers(like Tennessee Tornado), Old school B&Ms Not revive-Stand-ups Kill Off-SLC's Flats: Revive-Skydivers and Rotoshakes Not revive-Not to sure, honestly lol Kill off-Windseekers
  2. Great update, Chuck. Doubt I'll be going to HOS this year due to work. But from what I can see, Wendigo Woods looks like a great addition this year.
  3. Dominator, opening year at Kings Dominion (2008).
  4. I still remember before my trip to FL, I was anticipating to ride Hulk, Cheetah Hunt and Manta. Kumba was just another credit I wanted to get and wasn't expecting too much from it. I ended up riding it about thirty times in two days and easily became the most memorable ride of the trip. I also never understood why people think it's overrated or rough, it's better than half the rides B&M built after Kumba. Dominator and the Hulk are a bit rougher and they haven't been around as long as Kumba has. But as said before everyone has an opinion. Could you imagine if Drachen Fire was originally made by B&M like intended, we'd probably have two of these amazing rides.
  5. As much as I hate the cold weather I can tolerate it at amusement parks (go firgure, lol). I think its a different experience when riding rides which makes it better. First year of Christmas Town at BGW, I rode Griffon plenty of times when the temp was low, wearing long sleeves and with a think layered hoodie over. Now a days when I visit amusement parks in low temps I tend to wear my North Face jacket which I find perfect to wear in these conditions. It's light but it's enough to keep you VERY warm. And the zip-up pockets are a bonus, not having to worry about loose articles.
  6. Glad to see you enjoyed Kumba and Montu as much as I did. I'm still debating whether or not Kumba is my number 1 or not (it's tied with i305). I really need to get back to this park, especially with FF now open.
  7. It shouldn't be to bad since it's early in October. I went last year in late September and the crowds weren't bad overall. I suggest hitting Verbolten first as it usually has one of the longest lines. Loch Ness and Alpengeist usually tend to have the shortest lines or walk ons so I you shouldn't have to be in any hurry to hit up those rides. If you want to ride Mach Tower, do it while you have the chance, that ride is unpredictable.
  8. Wild One is definitely the best ride there imo, great airtime. I migh have to make a trip for Fright Fest for some night rides this year, it's been a while.
  9. Wasn't trying to turn it into a debate, I just don't think there's anything wrong with marathoning a ride regardless what the ride ops think. Hell, I've seen some of the GP marathon rides before. This is a good one. I can't tell you how many times I've overheard guests complain to the ride ops that they can't get a ride fixed and that they're not doing their jobs correctly. Ride ops aren't ride mechanics.
  10. I could care less what some 17 year old ride OP thinks of me. Without me, he would be a taco technician. That said, I have not marathoned a coaster since I was 14, but if these old bones would let me I would. Who cares what ride ops think? If I have the opportunity to marathon a coaster with no line, I'll be more than happy to. I've marathoned i305, Anaconda (ten years ago but never today ), Loch Ness Monster, Alpengeist and Kumba to the point I lost count on how many times I rode it.
  11. I think my biggest fear is being buried alive. Even with new technology and medicines, I still fear of waking up after I've been put to rest. Maybe I'll just get cremated so there's no possible way of it ever happening. Heights used to be a major fear of mine but I feel like I'm starting to get over it. They never bothered me on roller coasters(obviously), but in certain situations they freaked me out. Hell, the first time I went on the Eiffel Tower at Kings Dominion, I was terrified to even stand near the rails to look out. I stayed as close as I could to the center as much as possible. Now a days heights don't bother me as much.
  12. While I've never ridden Drachen Fire, it was one beautiful ride. The layout, trains, unique B&M supports with the traditional Arrow track, and the color scheme just made it stand out. I agree with these as well.
  13. How about a launched B&M wingrider like Thunderbird? It would help their title of "launch coaster capital" since Hypersonic is gone, if KD still cares for that title.
  14. Couldn't agree more. I still wonder where they would install a new major coaster. There's a decent spot next to i305 but I don't think the park would want to cram another major ride in the back corner of the park. I think another part of the park needs a new coaster like Old Virginia, if they can make room for it.
  15. I have yet to ride an RMC ride but my god do they look amazing. Even though I enjoyed the original Cyclone, WC will be amazing and I definitely want to visit SFNE again for sure.
  16. The only time I've seen a long line for Anaconda was during the last Saturday of Haunt/Season, last year.
  17. Shockwave at KD, a Togo death machine that isn't afraid to leave bruises on you and on top of that, long dispatches that have you on the brake run for 5 minutes after being tortured.
  18. I wonder if that teal is a tribute to Drachen Fire? Also kinda suprised how much work is already being done without an official announcement.
  19. I still don't undstand how KD can get rid of their train ride, but KI still has their's. Great TR as always, Chuck. Having ridden Batwing last year I'm very curious to see how much different it is to Firehawk. For the record I don't recall it being a bad ride. But yeah KI's FOF doesn't sound any different than it's sister on the east coast.
  20. Anaconda used to be a fun ride for me ten years ago, now a days it's an ok ride and I still ride it every visit. Shockwave is a different story, I'd love to see that ride get torn down.
  21. Awesome TR. Another reason why I need to visit FL again. BGT is such an amazing park with a great coaster line-up, and of course the addition on Falcon's Fury. Glad to it's up and running now!
  22. A Certain Shade of Green-Incubus
  23. ^I also get tired of bikers, but mostly stupid kids in my neighborhood who don't know how to get out of the middle of the road. There was two of them riding in front of me on my way home from work today and finally got over after riding a good 20 feet. It also doesn't help that it's dark out. Another rant, my computer has got unbearlby slow a couple months ago to the point where I can't use the internet so I've been posting on here from my Xbox 360. Can't link anything on the forums, but at least I have the keyboard for the contoller.
  24. A knock-off Boomerang? No thank you...
  25. Pleasent one I "re-discovered" was Avalanche at KD. Been on this thing before but I skipped it the first visit I made to KD this year but rode it on my last. For a family ride, I forgot how much this ride packs a punch. Very fun coaster that everyone should ride if they visit the park.
