Today. When was the last time you rode a wooden coaster?

I like Millennium Force and I want everyone to feel it!

Theres a nice little rode that pulls into some building right by the park. You can park there and walk up to the fence and get some. And huge loops arnt always forceless. Dominator at Geauga Lake is huge and that thing packs great forces. Yeah, there is great hangtime at the top and positive Gs when entering it. It's not the most forceful loop, but it's pretty forceful for being 135 feet tall.

I agree, I haven't ridden it yet with the MFs, but I did ride it when it had the old trains. I didn't think it was a bad ride, just a bit wild. A week from tomorrow, I'll be able to compare.

Only the last two tunnels on the helix, or all of them? They weren't on in the first drop tunnel, although that's pretty short, so I could see that, and they also weren't on in the one after the first drop...2:04 in this video. It would be cool to ride it with every single light off, including the lift hill lights.

Rode Son of Beast on Friday. No lie, it was the smoothest woodie I have ever been on. I rode in the front seat of the blue train. It was closed half the day, though, stuck on the lift. It didn't open until around 2:00 (give or take a few hours, don't know when exactly). The video was not working on Flight of Fear, either. It was not crowded at all on Friday. Everything was a walk-on and the ops were great, loaded and checked trains very quickly on every ride, and were very enthusiastic about everything. There was one thing, though. On FoF, when they were waiting for a train to come around to the loading part, the two ops that checked lap bars played rock paper scissors, but they didn't when the train came around and were very quick in checking the restraints, so it's nothing to complain about. The racer raced sometimes, not every time, though. I rode forwards first and I raced, when I rode backwards, later in the day, my train was dispatched about 10 seconds before the forward. What I don't like though, was that we were both clear to go, but didn't race. All in all, it's a great park with great staff and rides. The Beast at night was just the most awesome coaster experience ever, nothing tops that, in my opinion. I will definitely try to get back there next year.

A pitch black night ride on the Beast Friday night. A must if you go to KI.

I disagree. I have only ridden X-Flight and Tatsu, so i don't know how the Superman clones compare, but Tatsu blows X-Flight out of the water, easily. Scruffy, I will look for you.

When I was at SFMM last year, the X crew was very bad. The first time I rode was the second ride of the day, so I don't know how long people waited then. The second time I rode, towards the end of the day, I was in the station in 30 minutes, I though that it would be a good, quick wait, I was wrong. When I got in there I waited an hour and a half before I got on, yes an hour and a half. No breakdowns, just a very slow crew. I waited two hours total for what should have been an hour at the most.

You probably shouldn't have raised any land after the helix. I put it high enough so that there could be a drop to gain speed, now there's no room for one, and you can't really do anything because the train is going too slow. You should have waited until the track was complete to fix the land.

I can't wait until Robb and everyone rides it, I want to hear their reviews so bad.

I'll be going a week from today, what ride should I go to first? Should I get SoB or Firehawk out of the way first? Do they both usually open with the park? How should the crowds be on a Friday? It's supposed to be cloudy and possibly rain a little, so hopefully they won't be that bad. Thanks.

They activate automatically. If it senses that the train is going too fast, they will slow it down. I have been on it this year when they were off and when they were on. May was when they were off, which in the beginning of the year, they are usually off, but when I went June 13 and rode it, they activated.
