All Gerstlauer launches are rolling, so it's not really that impressive, even though they are awesome.

Found some areal photos! The huge sphere slide have not opened yet. My guess have been that they have been having problems with it, and I now got it confirmed. They are re-profiling it to have a smaller slop into the sphere, thanks to the slide over-speeding. Here's how it looked at first: And here's how it looks now after the re-build: To be honest, the fall from the top of the drop and down into the bottom of the sphere was ridiculously big, so this is probably a good thing! Looks like it will be more similar to a tornado drop in size now. It should open up really soon now. Can't wait for a video to see how this goofy slide will ride! Source

It is up to the local politicians to make the zoning plan, Länsstyrelsen can only stop it if something is wrong. As I wrote, they will make sure that they don't do the same misstake again before finalizing the zoning plan.

I hate everything that has with coal to do, but this ride is just awesomely themed!

I do like the fact that they added a roof, but I think Geforce deserves a real proper station and some extensive theming.

^ I don't think you should loose hope, most big projects like this area bit delayed before being finalized. Selling the land for the gokart track is also showing that they are actually working on this.

After what I've been reading the last days it becomes more and more clear that Wildfire won't happen for 2016. Even if they succeed in appealing the case (which will take up to 6 months) there is another level it can be appealed to by the resistance. So I'm no longer hoping for a quick fix.

Damn!! Look at the radius of those overbanks! 130km/h definitely seems likely after all. I'm gonna say the wrap is just there to protect it while they do the theming.

Sometimes shit happens! If the whole wheel assembly came of then it's quite serious, but I won't speculate until we know more.

No reason to worry, the ride will happen the way it is designed. Worst case scenario is that they loose out in court and have to make a zoning plan. This probably means a 1-2 year delay, but it will still happen. There is absolutely NO way that the town politicians are not going to let them build it in the zoning plan, and they won't make the same mistakes as in the first application.
