Yup! I start training and commissioning Skyride tomorrow. I hope this season goes well, commons is.. interesting. Wish me luck! I'm so jealous you have no idea. Lol

They are. The Bat is outstanding, Adventure Express and Backlot Stunt Coaster are excellent family rides and personally I love both Firehawk and Flight of Fear. Racer is a fun little ride too. Invertigo and Vortex are the only bad rides in the bunch, Kings Island has a very solid coaster lineup. They also have Delerium and Drop Tower which are both great and a fun flume. Personally I think the Bat is so good that it's right up there with Beast and Banshee.

The last time I rode the Dragon coaster it was butter smooth but amazingly boring because of those terrible trains. What a snooze fest...

Lines will be shorter then than they will when the park opens. Are you getting Fastlane? If you are I'd just start out at Maverick and power ride that. Then just use Fastlane for Millennium Force and Valravn once the park opens.

Stop riding El Toro in wheel seats. Stop riding all wood coasters on wheel seats. Seriously... stop it. The only wood coaster that's so well maintained that it rides just as well in wheel seats as non wheel seats is the Phoenix. Otherwise cut it out or stop complaining. You should all know better. Lol

That's great, and it's a great cause but since they have a charity / wildlife conservation fund, I'm surprised they chose another charity (though of course, I love the one they chose).

Really if this thing is even mediocre I'll be thrilled. Green Lantern at Magic Mountain was just so, so, so bad. Like so bad. Like god damn... I'm trying to be optimistic because it's a different ride type and a different manufacturer but that thing made me really nervous about this ride. I also despise X2 which is kind of similar in it's own right.

They pretty much don't care except on Ricochet. We rode fury in a god damn monsoon.

If Nitro is too rattly and rough for you then you should never have tried to ride Magnum in the first place. Might I suggest Steel Force? That seems to be more your speed. It's about as intense as your average couch. If Cedar Point touches a single thing on Magnum I'll lose my sh*t. I'm sorry if the airtime is too intense for you. You are right about Nitro's paint but keep dreaming.

Great report so far. Also, I agree with your assessment of Millennium Force 100%.

They're pointless crap. They don't get a drop of water on you without a waterfall or blast cannon, the boats are kind of nasty and they're just cheap pieces of junk.

Great report! It's a shame you missed Pompeii. It barely gets you wet and the effects are awesome. As far as Le Scoot goes, I fully understand some people lack my dedication to Log Flumes so I'll give you a pass on both of those because this report has a solid sky ride picture ratio. Lol

Where are these Magnum people coming from? If it's too rough for you then tighten the seatbelt and enjoy the ride. I'm sure you'll find Magnum's relentless ejector airtime to be far more fun than complaining.

Looks like a great time. We can't wait to make out first trip to Wildwood this year. When is that flume supposed to open for the season? lol Also at the Baby Harold. She has at least 30 of them at this point. Oh and I had some Kohr Bros of my own this weekend. That stuff is heavenly. The year they came out with waffle cones was the greatest year of my life.

The Tron coaster looks sick. Incredible stuff...

I can't wait for Mean Streak to open. It's so much fun each year watching the sheer disappointment when everyone realizes it's back for another fun filled season of medicority and the rumors / markers they got all excited about were meaningless.

Do we actually know that the reason they went with 8 across trains is because of the vest restraints or are we just pulling things out of our collective a**es again?
