  1. I love all the people that are blaming Intamin for this. Like, the ride is 16 years old, Intamin hasn't touched it in quite a while.

  2. Nope. . Woodstock Express is a Junior Woodie, not a kiddie coaster. Same with the Vekoma suspended, it's a Junior. if you told him don't ride Great Pumpkin Coaster, then I'd agree. . as THAT one *is* a kiddie coaster. . it just does the oval thing, and you can't ride without a child anyways. (I skip that one at Coasterstock when adults ARE allowed to ride it). that said? skip the Vekoma headbang suspended. .it's AWFUL. .even in the front row. Woodstock Express is decent in any row, tho I prefer 1st or 2nd row. (adults easily fit in these trains, with buzz bars only). . .it's not as smooth as the ones at KD and Carowinds, but it IS a fun little coaster. - while over here in Camp Snoopy tho? I highly recommend a ride on Woodstock's Whirlybirds - elevated "helicopter" monorail. . it does have a little bit of a dip, and it's powered, so maybe call it a "coaster" ? the ride vehicles are large, and it gives a nice breeze as well as a lovely view of the area. as to Adventure Express? Love it.. but it can get rickety the further back you sit. Non-wheel seat (row 2) is probably the best, tho I'd just grit my teeth and do row 1 for the view (as Zach said)

  3. Was at the park on Saturday for the day before spending the rest of the weekend with my sister who lives in Athens (currently posting from Chicken and Beer at the ATL airport). Was there from a little before noon until a little after 9pm and had a great day. Great weather and super light crowds until 6pm/FF but even then the coaster lines were totally manageable. I rode Cyclone and Goliath at least a dozen times each through the day, both were running impeccably (save for Cyclones trains making weird noises earlier in the day and both trains having rows roped off). I basically spent 7-9pm reriding Cyclone as many times as possible, as the wait was mostly halfway down the station stairs or I was just jumping in empty seats on the same train. Haven’t ridden an RMC besides Jersey Devil since I visited Cedar Point in 2019 and forgot how absurd the airtime can be. Shit! Had a great lunch and drinks at JBs and also managed rides on Mindbender (the new trains are a little tight for me but the ride is still great), Pandemonium, Dar Devil Dive, Blue Hawk and that was basically it. a TL;DR: Had an awesome day Saturday. Got drunk and rode Goliath and Cyclone a million times.

  4. I would get there an hour before the posted opening time to be safe. The only place for an adult to ride Woodstock Express is the back. Adventure express, I prefer a middle-row (non-wheel seat) to wards the front, but it really doesn't matter. Flying Ace...if I'm riding it, which I rarely do, it's in the back.

  5. I'm going to be cautiously optimistic that they'll fix it. I 100% expect them to do the bare minimum though.

  6. I can't imagine those people have actually been to and seen the park in the last few years, unless they think Intamin is also responsible for all of the other broken rides, not to mention paint, pavement, etc.

  7. I had myself a Goliath-sized laugh about that.

  8. The Giant Wheel lives on... as FF props. Also found it weird that theyre selling Superman merch in the ROS gift shop. Enough people still call it Superman and thats just going to perpetuate it, lol.
