I know you guys would get a laugh on this one. Someone at Kings Dominion had a bright idea to have 7pm fireworks when the park was closing, but funny thing is.... it was daylight outside.

I'd rather them do this right rather than rush and have an issue.

Or maybe they just don't have much to begin with...

Every ride I've oped that has the "seatbelts first, lapbars second" is a disaster to operate, no one listens. We used to just hold the restraint unlock button until all the belts are secured. But this isn't possible on all rides, I wish more companies would use the type that can go on second like on the Premier spaghetti bowls or Copperhead Strike. Just seems smart as it's just a natural habit for most people to pull the lap bar first. People seem to leave their brains in the car.

My first trip to the "World" started in that Christmas, when it was celebrating its 20th birthday. My parents and I just flew from not-so-dirty-Jersey to Florida. But despite my parents enjoying Disney more than me, I look back at how things were interesting back then... Yes, Dale - you can hold me. I'm just nipping at lace, so I don't mind... Waiting for "Sparkling Christmas Spectacular." Despite being too young to remember having seen it in person, it beats the current holiday show "Celebrate the Season" to the T! It's a small world after all... Ooh LA LA! Presenting - German Bandstand! "it's a small world" Edition! That was the first year when SpectroMagic ran. I see a zany pair of ears behind that metronome! I need Goofy to play for the local orchestra! Look at how enchanted and illuminated this garden is! Flora, Fauna, and Merriweather, please make me a garden like that! It's a pity when WDW recently announced that the parade is retired! But I'm posting those pics for nostalgia's sake! Me and DD at Epcot (Center) I found those faces too scary in Canada. To no one's surprise, yes, it was slammed. A gorgeous sunny day outside, so of course the park is heavily attended today! I dropped by for an hour just to get two quick laps on Storm Chaser, and get a certain loaf to take home to family! Entered at noon. It felt like the majority of guests hit up the water park since it's pretty hot outside. I got my two laps on Storm Chaser with very short waits! Since I had just come in from out of town and had junk in my car's trunk, I couldn't stay long. So on my way out, I made a mandatory pit-stop to a newly opened building! A sample of sweet offerings from the new Bluegrass Bakery. And the moment we've all been waiting for. The coveted Herschend-style CINNAMON BREAD! It comes with either classic icing, apple glaze, or a bourbon glaze. I took my lidded loaf home, warmed it back up in the oven for a few minutes and enjoyed that suuuper sweet and soft bread! VERY worth getting! The portion is big enough to share or take home to save.

I realized we haven't had a Ju(i)cy Lucy in this thread yet. For those unaware, this burger is a Minneapolis creation that puts cheese on the INSIDE of the burger patty. The exterior of the one I had tonight. And since I forgot to take a cross-section when I first got it like a total idiot, here it is nearly gone, the interior cheese still visible.

I bought a car with a 72 month lease in October 2019. Due to COVID, my federal student loans were placed in forbearance. I used the money that would have gone into my student loans towards my car payments. I submitted the last payment today. On my birthday.

In case anyone is coming out to the park this weekend for fireworks, they start at 9:05 both Saturday and Sunday. Best place to view is the parking lot.
