Once upon a time, deep in the sparsely inhabited lands of South Africa, Dutch Boers were among the earliest European settlers. Colonization of the ancient tribal lands went on for several decades, with small outposts dotting the wild lands. Many of them went abandoned over time - thanks in large to decay over time, most of the colonies simply collapsed and were simply not salvagable. In the late 1970s, three young college students from the Netherlands made a voyage to their homeland's former colony in hopes of connecting with part of their proud heritage. Among them was an anthropology student, a business major and an engineering student. Between them, they had the skill and mindpower to come up with an idea - a revitalization of Dutch presence in South Africa. Between their minds, half a decade, and one hell of a loan, they were able to find a modest settlement that had eluded the effects of weathering and age, and in 1984, they opened the Amsterdam Grand Resort, accessible from Johannesburg by a 4 hour train ride. More recently, the trio has decided to branch out and diversify their successful property. Once simply a Five Star lodge, and restored remnants of a village reminiscant of their hometown, they decided that the lands could be used in a wild fashion. Their new venture? The theme park industry. Breaking ground on amusement attractions in the mid 1990s, by the year 2000 the park was a destination among the African elite, and home to several high-class thrill rides and attractions, including some of the best wildlife exhibits on the planet.

Now, you are to be treated to a preview. We hope you enjoy the presentation, and hopefully one day you will make a journey to... The Amsterdam Grand.

Thanks for the compliments y'all.

^^ There aren't many pics because (at most) 5% of the park is "done". I am very meticulous, and on top of that I dont play very often, so it will take a while... besides, not showing the whole thing is the idea behind a "preview"

I got some film of the park's woodie, but I can't import wma's into Premier so I may not be able to post it...

I like the over all layout. I'm jsut not to happy with all the straight sections after the inversions. Maybe add a feww airtime hills in the tunnels becuase everyone coud use a little more

You should make some custom supports for that floorless coaster, because some of the elements going over paths and buildings are way undersupported.
