arlen23 Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I do Push-ups everyday, and i wanted to know how people take protien pills and do it...I would like to take in protien if it helps.
Vigilante Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Drink a protein shake after you do a hard workout, helps build the muscles up better and quicker. If you don't work it off, you will get fat. I don't take any of that crap, I used to be 300 pounds, im 260 now and still workin it off, I eat normally, just work hard to burn it off. I would just take multi vitamins if I were you, your body will become dependant on that for a main source of protein.
mcjaco Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 It's better to eat foods that are higher in protein, than taking supplements. Peanuts are a great source of protein. Â I stay away from the supplements except, for my multivitamin n the morning (I sound like an old man). I've been lifting for six years now (with a year and half hiatus), just eat the right things and continue to work out. You're metabolism will kick up which will help.
Hercules Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I agree, it is much better to eat foods rich in protein rather than drinking shakes or high protein cookies or some crap like that. Peanuts are good, but very high in fat. A lot of green vegetables are very high in protein such as broccoli or spinach.
JamesMC Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Are you talking push-ups the physical activity, or the Orange Sherbet on a Stick?????
Vigilante Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I think he is talking about the delicious orange sherbert on a stick..... Eat 10 a day keep the rats away.
Jonathan Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour, eating orange push-ups cold and long
