Drink a protein shake after you do a hard workout, helps build the muscles up better and quicker. If you don't work it off, you will get fat. I don't take any of that crap, I used to be 300 pounds, im 260 now and still workin it off, I eat normally, just work hard to burn it off. I would just take multi vitamins if I were you, your body will become dependant on that for a main source of protein.

It's better to eat foods that are higher in protein, than taking supplements. Peanuts are a great source of protein.

I stay away from the supplements except, for my multivitamin n the morning (I sound like an old man). I've been lifting for six years now (with a year and half hiatus), just eat the right things and continue to work out. You're metabolism will kick up which will help.

I agree, it is much better to eat foods rich in protein rather than drinking shakes or high protein cookies or some crap like that. Peanuts are good, but very high in fat. A lot of green vegetables are very high in protein such as broccoli or spinach.

Horse steroids are also totally cool!
