coastakid Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 This is my first completed wooden coaster. I haven't had the game for more than 2 months, (im obsessed though) so any pointers would be very helpful....Thank you. It is a wooden Plug & Play intamin Hyper Coaster. It has a very steep drop and an immelman turn/drop that has some very high Gs. It is also the 1st wooden coaster with an overbank turn, 2 in total. This is also my first coaster "ok" enough to post. coasterlover420 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 That was good for a first coaster! The only thing I'll say is that wooden coasters can't have overbanks. Good job!
coasterbuzz36763 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 How far on a overbank? I have one that is 150+ that is made by Hansixx.
coasterlover420 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 For wood, 90 degrees and that's it, because nothing is supporting it from the top.
benzo41190 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 unless you have a steel structure like on Son Of Beast. There is a wooden track, but its built on a steel structure.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 unless you have a steel structure like on Son Of Beast. There is a wooden track, but its built on a steel structure. Son of Beast has a wood structure. I think you mean Hades or Voyage.

Also, woodens CAN have overbanks, there is absolutely nothing stopping that from happening, you just would have to support it in a weird way. BTW, nice coaster costakid, it was very enjoyable.
Stitch Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 This game is called No Limits ... you can make it do what ever you want
weldthis Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Thats a good job for only having the software for 2 months. I like the lay out and it is alot smoother than some of mine, although I did notice the structure blocking the track a bit in the overbanks. maybe some custome supports in those areas would have worked allitle better, but all around good job.. ---Chad

Only possible way without the structure collapsing is with steel-type supports. That's why SOB's loop had to be steel.
