I would like to make a suggestion if someone receives a report (or posts) a report about an incident and claim "who is right" or "who is wrong" then they post the link from that source. That way no one can have a 2-3 page argument on who said what. I believe it would be some courtesy for other readers to follow-up on the thread and then do not have to repeat the same question(s) and everyone gets upset on the other posters comments.

So, for the record, where was the source/link about those people being sent to the hospital? I did not find any of that information on the local news media nor the website (at the time the incident occured).

Also, if a train valleys like the Chiller incident, I seriously DOUBT the train can be removed in one day (unless maintenenance/engineers work around the clock in shifts with 10 people or more and providing they have all the equipment readily available on-site). Speaking from maintenance experience, it takes quite a bit of time to actually remove a complete train from the track (and it wasn't even in a straight section of track).

The Chiller uses cable to pull it's trains out if it valleys. It might not take a day, but it isn't as complicated as getting all that equipment out.

But what happened that people would have to be taken to the hospital?

The point is, it is NOT as easy as it appears just to pull out a cable and pull the train out of a "valley" situation. It requires some planning and engineering staff/maintenance technicians to carefully plan the event. I speak from experience (BBW and another coaster from another park) that it takes ALOT of work and no way it is a day job (even on a 24hr-3shift crew). Ask the maintenance people over at 6F-MM "X"!

**Some of those quotes are posted from other sites. At least be curteous enough to post a link to that site(s) so the person can have credit for his quote and/or other members can see the entire quote and they can comment on it. Even if is your own comment/work.

Example: I found a quote from this author.

Yeah, sorry about that, but you found it this time, i'll remember that next time.

But yeah, I know that cables don't necessarily make it shorter, I was just saying that it isn't the same as taking an entire train apart by car and taking it to the station. I don't really know time differences, but you know my basic point.

But there still isn't any other signs of hospitals, exept from what I've heard here. What happened?

Chiller didn't just valley. It came to grinding hault. There were reports of Whiplash. It happened becuase of the wheel assembelies. I'am not sure what was wrong with them, but what I heard is that one shifted, and caused it to stop suddenly.

Hate to say I told you so. The accident on the Chiller was severe and DID require that people be sent to the hospital. Now, it seems as though trains need to be rebuilt. This is terrible. However, looking on the bright side...assuming that the shutdowns of Joker's Jinx is related, at least Six Flags is taking a precautionary step to prevent any further injuries.

Ask this person..lol

I can't find any link or support to the claim that anyone was taken to the hospital. At the time of the incident, it was reported that no injuries occured by 6F media department.

I know what happened on Chiller. And I mean, I know 100%.

What hapened was, there was a crack on the inside f the wheel assembly on the 3rd car, left sde. During the ride, the wheel assembly came off. Thus the third car became lop sided. When it hit the LIM's on the spike, the LIM fin on the left side, third car smashed into the LIM's and the car, making it all mangelled! The FIN went into the car and gashed a kids leg from his knee to his ankle. He shoulv'e been sent to the hospital, but he decided to stay. The third car ended up slaming into the fourth car, breaking two kids arms (they went to the hospital). The train hen came down and valleyed, or more screached back and fourth. While this happened the whole power house shook! Also, the mechanics had to break off the LIM fin to get the injured kids off. I saw picture up close after the accident, and it was devistating. Robin is getting new trains and will not open for the rest of the year.

Where is the information from? Can you support that with a link from the information/confirmation? There are so many stories floating around about the incident, it really is hard to believe who said what and what are the facts (regarding the incident). And when I say "stories" there are about 3-4 who say "100%" they are correct and cannot back-up the information. Just providing a synopsis of the event is not much information unless it can be backed-up with some facts. Do you work maintenance at the ride?

That pic has been posted for quite awhile (on several sites). As a suggestion, just post either the pic or the link so everyone won't have to speculate or ask repeated questions on the source of the information. And be sure to credit that source (which is fair, since no one else should take credit for the information-unless it is your "own" work).

they dont know because some lazy person sighs and says they do not know, but i think they're just being lazy and not asking the manager, so why don't you call (817)530-6000 and ask them when it's going to reopen,, and that way i can prove it
