No. I've been testing it - not only does it come with SteadyShot Plus or whatever, but it stayed pretty steady while I was rollerblading earlier. Yes, I was carrying the camera while doing that. It wasn't like I was doing any tricks!

It's smaller than Robb's reccommended HC30.

It's actually slightly bigger, and more plasticy. Still a lovely little camcorder though.

Would you recommend it? Cause I have been looking at a few cameras, and I can't find the right one.

^same here. I am looking for a new one. I think it is not easy to finde a good one (for a good price)!

It's a hard call with these cameras getting smaller and smaller. For myself, I love the new smaller Sony's and I feel like I can hold them just fine and steady, but I also see Robb's point. If you have bigger hands holding something small like that still can be a lot more tricky.

I believe it's also a Physics issue. Doesn't a heavier object remain at rest (ie steady) easier than some light camera bouncing around? It's a trade off...you want something smaller to carry around but you also want quality footage. We'll be bringing both the small and smaller cameras on our Europe trip and see how they work out.

I'm not planning on buying a video camera any time soon because of 1) I'm now broke after buying myself a new laptop and 2) My digital camera has a record feature (Yeah, yeah, not high quality videos) but it satisfies me. I haven't taken it to a park yet as I'm really anxious to try it out. I'm a bit wishy-washy on taking POVs with it but knowing me, I'll most likely give it a shot. Videos will already be compressed somewhat for Internet usage.
