Wes Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 My girlfriend and I decided to waste the day everyone's favorite LA based theme park that is also a movie studio and is also built on a hill. (special thanks to Joey for giving his Jew brother the hook up...I'm so getting you an overpriced alcoholic drink at WDW next time we go) Here's some pics from the day: It's UCS for me! No, they didn't get an Apollo 13 drop ride. King Kong is depressed he has to sit next to the Back To The Future buiilding. I can see my office building from here. Revenge Of The Joey, err...Mummy ! Alas, there's no awesome ejector airtime, no fire room, no random ending with Brendon Frasier...It certainly does UCS. Our tram tour operator was the epitome of UCS. "Hi..." Looks like they made Earthquake "artist friendly". Oh hey, what's this? Old and stupid or artist friendly? You decide. Deer Jesus can float on water. Watch out for porcelain deer. This was new and stupid. Porcelain deers and wine coolers are the #1 cause of airline disasters. OMG REAL DEAR! Damn, Gina! Finally I leave you with a heart tugging photo of me and Bill Paxton.
Luxo Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Sweeten, enhance, beautify... ...So what happens during the King Kong scene?
SharkTums Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 The only thing that could have made this TR any better was a picture of Joey dressed as an Egyptian. Thanks Wes!
Wes Posted May 1, 2006 Author Posted May 1, 2006 Nothing. It's basically just a display of how forced perspective works. There's absolutely nothing to it beyond what you see in the picture.
Reon Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Wow. I though you guys wouldve forgotten that thing by now. You dont know HOW tempted I was to take a picture of this one girls shirt on Saturday...with a big UCS on it
The Cheat Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Sweeten, enhance, beautify... ...So what happens during the King Kong scene? Nothing. The waters part and you go through it. Then some fog comes out and you look at it. The End. I liked it a lot better when they made you part the red sea. I also wish they showed you this before you did the "Good Kong" part. So that then it wouldnt be that much of a let down.
Jew Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Universal City Studios! -Joey "it's UCS for me!!...Realy" Mandel
JT3000 Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 At the risk of sounding stupid, what is UCS? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKNbLfllerg
niiicolaaah Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 ^LOLLLL... thanks for the link!!! Sweeten... Enhance... Beautify
dougr Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 ^LOLLLL... thanks for the link!!! Sweeten... Enhance... Beautify Here, have a wine cooler...
xdisneyfan Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I liked it a lot better when they made you part the red sea. You wouldn't have liked it if you were in the preceding tram the first time I visited. My tram had to bypass the Red Sea, and could only wonder how that other tram got stuck in the middle of all that water.
