Well by origin that typically means where did your family come from originally. So this would mean many generations ago in most cases.

 

In my case it obviously wouldn't be Canada, or even America(my family is from the US). It'd be Scotland most likely if we went back far enough.

 

So your origin would most likely be some European country if you went far enough back.

I'm African American....Black if you will....but I prefer Brown-Skinned!.....(I'm not that dark)... Mom from Pittsburgh, PA and is Light Skinned....Dad is from Valenica, CA and is Dark Skinned
