CoasterFanatic Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 For somewhere around a year now, I have been playing with a couple of friends. Together we play little shows around town and some surrounding areas. Last night, we played "The Border" in Steubenville, OH. Even though Rock and Roll and Mexican Restaraunt don't seem like the greatest combination, the gig ended up being a pretty good one. Here are some pictures from the show. Be sure to check out our MySpace page if you get really bored.
memphish Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Kick ass duder! I liked that song on your page. What bass do you play again? Edit: actually, I wouldn't mind knowing your whole rig.
niiicolaaah Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Bass players are awesome. I haven't said that lately.
CoasterFanatic Posted March 25, 2006 Author Posted March 25, 2006 I wouldn't mind knowing your whole rig Bass Rig Alvarez 5-String Sunburst Ibanez 4-String SoundGear Gallien-Krueger 15-RB Cabinet Just for kicks Guitar Rig 1999 Les Paul Stuido Lite (Black) 2004 Peavey EVH (Red) 4x12 Marshall Cabinet Line-6 Head (These things are like magic)
memphish Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 You don't know anyone looking for a 4x12 Marshall cab, or a VXPocket do ya? My closet is getting full of guitar player gear. No way for a bassist to live.
Imhotep Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Nice!!! I like your bands name. My band went under the name "Makeshift" for about a year before we had to change our name due to copyright reasons. Luckily for us, that was around the time we changed our sound anyway so it all worked out. Nice Bass rig you got there! How long have you been playing for? Awesome your show went well, Great to see a fellow band member on here.
PhishyBrewer Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 The midwest night life... oh how do I miss it.
memphish Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 ^^I think the TPR band has about 6 bassists. Bass is the new guitar it seems.
CoasterFanatic Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 How long have you been playing for? Really, I am a guitarist by trade (about 19 years). I started messing around with the bass around 1999 or so. Found some more pictures ...
ImAPrincess Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I swear you make the funniest faces when you play! Some of them are kinda creepy
Coaster Palooza Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Nice trip report Ted. I am diggin' that bar with the Steelers items up. You know you have to be close to Pittsburgh with all of that!
CoasterFanatic Posted April 9, 2006 Author Posted April 9, 2006 NEW SHOW! Last night we played Carmens Fireside Inn which about 2 blocks from my house. As usual a good time was had! You can view all the photos at: http://www.tedcromwell.com/photos/MSAS_04_08_2006 http://www.makeshiftallstars.com This pretty much sums it up. Getting jiggy with it. I think that we are only allowed to play bars that have at least 5 Steeler Banners. Your fearless narrator
