I need your e-mail address so I can e-mail you the file. If their are any issues please tell me. YAY!!! Let the race begin!!
Angry_Gumball Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 paintballjunkie287@hotmail.com BTW, that looks sweet!
Timpowes Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Looks great. Too bad I don't have No Limits
awclark Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 that's 5 people right there. I'll try and get it sent to you all right now. Just a note... You MUST have the Coastersims Park Pack for ANY of the 3DS to show up at all, otherwise there will be no paths and it will look like crap. haha
CP_RULES Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I want to know how to make those awesome stations, paths, and 3D's...? Or how to get the add-on...
awclark Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 The 3ds is all from the coastersims Park Pack over at coastersims.com All of the other detail is ALL handmade with wooden beams and LOTS and LOTS of Nodes. haha. It is time consuming but to me, my DF station turned out really nice.
coastakid Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 yes it looked like crap to me cuz the coastersims pack didnt work for me...but it was a great coaster and i enjoyed riding it
awclark Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 yeah that's a problem that people may run into. I need to stress very big that the park pack is required to have the full effect on the coaster. I mean the only obj. that i used were the pathways and that is a huge chunk. There is also the environment that is also required to also get the full effect. It is called Ambrosia. It is from DCs221 who was able to send it to me so i could get it.
Loefet Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I didn´t get the park pack to work, but I got the main imression of the ride. Maby you shoud make a .nlpack instead.
awclark Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 I have an Apple laptop. If any of you know how to convert it to the .nlpack form. I have a pack extractor but not the track packager. It is onlyh for Windows. Maybe I can change it by just changing it from .nltrack to .nlpack. I dunno, does anybody know how?
awclark Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 "Can You Take the Heat" because on March 7, 2006 you get to go back in time to '92, or '98, to take the heat of DRACHEN FIRE!! lol, cheesy i know.
awclark Posted March 7, 2006 Author Posted March 7, 2006 both versions are up and ready to download over at coastersims.com
awclark Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 you don't need to worry.... there was a problem with the .nlpack for both of them. I had to delete it off the site. When i get it working i plan on getting it posted in many places.
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I have a real on-ride video, the original track, of Drachen Fire the resoultion isn't so hot, but still, It's DRACHEN FIRE!!!!!! if you would like a copy, just e-mail me
awclark Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 OMG! yeah i want it. What's ur e-mail? you can PM me or something whatevers good.
awclark Posted April 5, 2006 Author Posted April 5, 2006 *UPDATE* Sorry there has not been one in a while, but for those who have been watching that NLDC page have noticed that the ride went on hold. It was because there was a major issue with the 3ds and I had to re-do it all. It sucks, but hey, it happens. well...... .....The 3ds re-do is finally done!! The only new 3ds that was not there before was that i added the maintenance road that branches off and goes under the camel back and out behind the MCBR and then goes up to the miday entrance to the area and ends. There are pictures in the update to explain. I am going to attempt the wooden gaurdrails along the road too. Other than that... I think everything is now done - again. lol. Some track modifications were made too. Most notibly being the drop off the MCBR for the '92 version. I have now included the bad pumps, bumps and transition in it, so PLEASE when it comes out, do NOT mark down for that because it only makes it more accurate. Some other mods were made but they are not significant in any way. Also the '98 version will not be available when '92 is released. It WILL however come out about 2 weeks after '92 just because i find it frustrating to work on 2 projects at once. anyway, here's the link: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p1092
fmcnsf Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Great re-creation. I wish I had the coaster sims game to play that on my computer, if you ever make a video of it, please let me know, I would love to watch it on W.M.P. Does anyone know why they tore the real one down? I saw a P.O.V. of it that the park shot years ago, in fact, I think I downloaded it from T.P.R. It looked like a great coaster, I would have liked to ride it.
awclark Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 hahaha. It's so funny that you mentioned i should take a video of it in NL. I just plugged my video camera in to charge it so i could attempt a video! I heard there was a video making program for NL, but i could be wrong. Most likely it is for Windows and i have a Mac. w/e if you want to know more about DF: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21005&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=50 mine should be that long post right there. A basic history about the ride. there is also this: http://history.amusement-parks.com/drachenfire.htm Which is a COMPLETE history about the ride and it's problems.
awclark Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 Well...... let's see. Thanks to the much appreciated help from Riscit, we have worked together to fix the issues with the ride. He has packaged it and i am shooting for a release tomorrow on weeweeslap.com and Coastersims.com. EXCITING!!!! Right now, i am doing the final stages of noticing small problems. A of now, there are none. So let's hope it is done by tonight, and RELEASED TOMORROW!!!
awclark Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 my bad! I almost forgot that WWS does not accept .nlpack files. Well, I guess this coaster will only be available at CS.
awclark Posted April 9, 2006 Author Posted April 9, 2006 so do i just create a folder, stick the .nlpack in there and zip the folder? If so then yeah, i'll still do it.
