ltp74 Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 I got lucky and landed a ticket at a decent price to see the Steelers make history at Ford Field and the best part was the game was only 30 miles from where I live. I'm not much of a picture taker and/or phtoshop expert but here are some pics from Super Sunday. The Steelers going over the plays I guess & the ABC pre-game show set. More warm-up's. Willie Parker, Jerome Bettis & ? greeting some fans. Big Ben during warm-up's I knew he was going to have a bad game because he was one of the first guys out for warm-up's. First thing you see when you enter the stadium. Ford Field or Heinz Field West home of Super Bowl XL. Even former Steeler great and member of the Hall of Fame Mel Blount had to pass through security. The line to get into Ford Field, the security checkpoint and where they scanned your tickets was on the other side of the baseball stadium. My ticket to Super Bowl XL!
ltp74 Posted February 16, 2006 Author Posted February 16, 2006 I will post some more later today or tomorrow.
DerekRx Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I think its almost every guy's dream to be able to go to the Super Bowl. Thanks for sharing some pictures of stuff we don't normally get to see on TV. I know of at least a few Steelers fans that are jealous of you right now.
Chris Benvenuto Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I live in Detroit. Ford Field was very yummy, like cancer, Yummy Yummy Cancer. (^Katamari Damacy reference!) Chris "Yummy Cancer!" B
ltp74 Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 Here are the rest I didnt take that many during the game. The Super Bowl is amazing and if anyone ever has a chance to go watch their team in it do it the experience is once and a lifetime and worth every penny. The party went on outside all night. And the party keeps going. The party begins. This is called the Victory formation. The Rolling Stones, I only watched a little bit because I wanted to get something to eat. The opening kickoff. Coin Toss, I think Tom Brady used a two headed coin. National Anthem. Ford Field was a sea of Terrible Towel's.
