johnychen
Rode over 470 coasters with contacts and have not lost one. Never really had dry eye issues on coasters. I usually get dry eyes while driving for long periods of time or watching too much TV. I think the G forces of a coaster helps to increase circulation around the old eyeballs and creates more tears. mjollner
I've had contacts since I was around 15 years old and I've never once experienced any kind of dryness/ problem even though I've been on a ton of big coasters. Don't worry, be happy... And fly!
cfc
I've been wearing contacts for years and never had a problem with them on a coaster.
DoinItForTheFame
My partner wears contacts every time we go to parks and he has never had any issues. His contacts have survived all the coasters, thrill rides and water rides we have been on. Never had a problem.
thrillseeker4552
Wow, a 10-year bump. I wear contacts at theme parks and have no problems. Unless you're on the front row of Kingda Ka with your eyes wide open, there should be no issues.
coasterkid124
I'm switching back to contacts soon mainly for comfort and performance. I'll be glad to go on coasters like TTD and Skyrush once again and be able to see clearly.
mike007
I'm sorry if this was asked before, but I did search the forum for this topic and found none. Anyways, I'm wearing contact lenses now and I'm afraid that when I ride on a roller coaster, my eyes and Sharingan Contacts would become dry and the lenses would just fly off because of the wind. Did it happen to anyone? Because sometimes when I'm even walking, my eye would get irritated by my lenses for a while. So, should I wear them or not? If I don't, I'm completely blind. Because of wind your eyes become dry and your lenses will removew from eyes it is natural. But your eyes get irritate its not natural may be your contact lenses doesn't suits you, you have to consult with an eye specialist and change contact lenses.
