Homer Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 ^Sonic Rush - Classic Sonic... Wario Ware Touched! - Eccentric and makes good use of the features. Kirby Canvas Curse - Best use of the touch screen ever.
Robgraves Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 traded in my PSP since i havent touched it since september other than as an mp3 player after my ipod went kaputski and got a ds lite and New SMB, Tetris DS... and my new daily addiction... Brain Age!... i cat reccommend the system or Brain Age more... AND NEW SMB is AWESOME!... memories.
RCTfan Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I had to trade my Mario Kart DS back in because it kept freezing. It was used and they didn't have any new or used copies, so I picked up Big Brain Academy. I enjoy the game alot. Its fun and I don't even realize I'm getting more intelligent. Haha. I would've gotten Brain Age, but they were sold out. They were also sold out of Final Fantasy IV which was another one of my choices. I still got store credit left for it! I highly suggest the DS. I'll pick up New SMB soon as well as Final Fantasy.
ECZenith Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 I bought a DS lite a couple days ago and I think it's much better than the original. So far my favorite game is "magnetica", a puzzle game much like the arcade game puzzloop. Other good ones are new mario bros and the aformentioned sonic rush.
dragoncoaster1292 Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 My friend just got one of these. OMG its so freakin small! I was suprised at the power of the little thing, too! Awesome system, get it now!
ECZenith Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 I suggest you also put the $20 or so down to cover it for a year. It seems like it wouldn't take much to destroy it.

Actually in all my years of gaming there is no quetsion who makes the toughest game systems, Nintendo by alot Already my daughters DS has been through it, and it still works perfectly, while I try to coddle my PSP, as it seems quite fragile
ECZenith Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Good point, I was just kinda worried about the touch screen staying sharp, guess time will tell.
jdsmartdude911 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 i got a DS lite, but it aint mine yet, i have to earn it, just 80 dollars to go!
RCTfan Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I need to pick up a case for my DS Lite. I've been keeping it in the "bag" that it came in the box and its been getting scratched in my work bag. I'm quite sad that its already scratched, but as long as it still works. I need to pick up screen protectors but I'm not sure what ones to get. I heard mixed reviews on different kinds.
ECZenith Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 For 10 bucks I bought a protector bag at EB. Does a pretty good job. This system is excellent, the new mario bros game is just an instant classic.
