SharkTums Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 That's a bummer...will you ever be able to ride again?
Joe Cool Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Oh dude that sucks! Hopefully you can ride soon. But on a good note welcome to TPR hope you enjoy yourself.
CoasterCrazy Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Welcome to TPR! I really hope you will be able to ride coasters again someday!
Hattuchili Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 First off all, welcome on the boards! It sounds very bad and I also hope you will be able to ride coasters soon! --Sören
cfc Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Take care of yourself--don't jump back into the "bumpy" rides too soon.

sfmmFREAK Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 i dont know but with what my doctor says it might be at least 3-4 yrs before i can ride again oh, man. thas terrible. sorry to hear that
coasterfan625 Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Welcome to TPR and I hope that you are able to ride again.
WillMontu Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 You might have to avoid: Anything made by Vekoma Anything made by Togo Anything made by Arrow Most woodies As for Intamin/B&M/etc. they don't tend to recommend people people with back problems. I'm assuming it's because of the high G-forces, so you MIGHT be able to ride some less intense rides, but I would consult your doctor before doing so.
Teddymonster Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 i dont know but with what my doctor says it might be at least 3-4 yrs before i can ride again I was gonna say that sounds about right. Both my mother and my godmother had fusions performed. They were on the upper vertebra around their necks. Either way, spinal fusions are a bitch and half, and I hope you recover quickly so you can hit the coasters again!
Guest Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 If I can ride the Jeep jungle tour at Silver Spring, FL, that is really bumpy and rough, I think I can ride some smooth rides. And if I can tell you all that I am slightly disabled, on Social Security disability, and what some of the new rules in govt are, I think they might not let me get a handicap parking thing that hangs on my rear view mirror. I can walk now, but my doctors will have to prove to the govt that I am disabled and that I need that thing that hangs on the rear veiw mirror because I really can't walk far distances. I used to be in an electric mobility scooter for two-and-a-half years and if I need it again I will need the thing that hangs in the rear veiw mirror. If there are any disabled people here, please help me put a petition out there for the slightly handicapped and slightly disabled people so we can have fun, too, at amusement parks. You all might not think I am disabled when you meet me but I have mild arthritis in my knees and in my shoulders, too, plus the lower back thing I wish to get people to know that there are people like me in the world that love to do amusement parks and ride rides and have fun too. Also, I am a Christian, too. EDIT: Made post easier to read.
waterviper Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Honestly dude its a bummer about your back and all you had to go through dealing with it. But I seriously cannot read what you just posted here because there is no periods. Your I's are not capitalized and that makes it very difficult to read. So could you please edit your post and please put in the proper punctuations. Thank you.
Louise Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 ALSO I AM CHRISTIAN TOO Ummmm, okaaaaay.... And also, what he ^ said.
ebl Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 "So could you please edit your post and please put in the proper punctuations." (waterviper) Taken care of... Eric
waterviper Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And also, what he ^ said. Completely off topic but I just had to address this. So Louise I am now reduced to "he" now? also.... Thank you eric!
