SFOT's prices haven't increased for the 2006 season. Parking did by $1 to $10.00 now and Holiday In The Park pricing was at $35/day even with 1/2 the rides closed.

Still $41.99 for a day at the park.

Also, don't count on all those old buy one get one free discounts and other huge discounts anymore.

That's what I was afraid of

^ Yea, we probably can say good-bye to the buy one get one discount. I'm sure they'll have the $15 dollar discounts for daily passes and on-line discount, but not much more than that.

Since I am still working SF I don't have to worry bout prices yet.

With my id I get 2 comp tickets per day at any SF park.

When the day comes that I have to pay, of course I will without complaining. See, I also know the price increase should have happened a LONG time ago.

Getting a season pass for liitle more than one day admission is crazy!

Certainly a good marketing tool for a limited time but not all freakin year.

Diana and I just got our 2006 passes at SFMM today. Still $125 for the Xtreme, and still $49.99 for the regular one. Still a great deal.

But as I've said before, if the passes were more expensive, they'd still be well worth it.

^ That's not THAT expensive.

The Knott's passes are well over $100.

Yea, CP is nearly 100 and even though you get into all parks, if you only use it for CP thats only May-Aug with weekends in Sept and Oct. NOT alot of time.

I just ordered passes for SFKK for 45 bucks each. We are planning on going to about 5 Six Flags parks this year. heck of a deal.

Cedar Point is almost 100.00....that is paid for in 3 visits...still a bargain if you ask me.

Dorney's passes are around ~$100 as well. Seems to be the CF pricing scheme. IMO, that's what SFI should do. Lower gate with less discounts and a higher SP.

I agree, gate prices and season passes shouldn't be so similar. At least with Dorney where the gate price during peak season is $36.99, you have to go 3 times for the season pass to be worth it unlike at Six Flags where it seems like the season pass price is less than 2 tickets purchased at gate price.
