Coney Island Cincinnati to close permanently

I thought it already had been closed...   Regardless, whatever is left will be gone soon and in its place a shiny new music venue (which I thought was already something there, but again, shrug!)  Coney Island to close permanently

Honestly I didn't realize the place was still open. I've got a lot of memories from the music venue there, and the horse track, but I think I only ever went to Coney Island maybe like once? Hopefully the area gets some love with the new development but yeah losing Coney Island isn't much of a surprise.

I went to the last year of warp tour in 2019 at riverbend amphitheater. That's what shared grounds with Conery island   I should of road the two coaster they had left at that time. They closed down I think after that season. They took the coasters out added I think a bigger pool and put in more seating and shelters for people to use for parts and field trips and such.

It was going to close earlier, but COVID killed it.

Always bittersweet to say goodbye to the old while welcoming the new. Wishing the current owners and employees all the best as they navigate this transition.

having been born in Cincy and living there until I was 10 I still call Cincy my hometown and I hate seeing this but understand it.
