A few of us are going camping in the Ozarks next weekend and I realized how ridiculous close I will be to Silver Dollar City. It's one of the few parks in the middle of the country I haven't hit and really want to. My question is how good is the park really? I'm pretty much a broke college student in Mississippi and don't have a lot of throwing around money. The season is fixing to be over and I need to get some rides in. Could you give me your overall take on the park, and is Silver Dollar better than Celebration City? I've only got the cash for one...and Silver Dollar is more $$$.

Definitely go to Silver Dollar City. This is one of the best parks and it has some great coasters and food. It really is worth the time and money to visit.

I'm not Robb, but I would say DEFINITELY go to SDC. It is seriously one of the best parks in the country. The Ozark Wildcat at Celebration City is awesome, and probably my favorite coaster at the two parks, but Celebration City has a long way to go before it comes even close to the level of quality that SDC has.

I can't recommend SDC enough.

Silver Dollar City? Isn`t that that place with that Powder Keg coaster I`ve heard so much about? Ozark Wildcat? One of the best coasters on the planet? SOMEBODY FILL ME IN!!! I`M TOO YOUNG TO GO ANYWHERE INTERESTING!!! Only Six Flags Great Adventures and Dorney Park. Maybe Hershey.
