MagnumForce Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Well they added 3 coasters in 4 years before that. The swing won't be replacing WWL. It is going in a completely different location.
Homey G. Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 ^ I just realized after all this time that that's a dude kissing you in your avatar.
Wes Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 What kind of park doesn't have a flume?!?! Not one any sane person would visit! Yeah, what's with all those crazy idiots who go to Tokyo Disney Sea???
MagnumForce Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 It's Corey no less It's froms Robb's 03 DVD. Needless to say Jen absolutly hates the avatar.
chauncey Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 What kind of park doesn't have a flume?!?! Not one any sane person would visit! Yeah, what's with all those crazy idiots who go to Tokyo Disney Sea??? Tokyo Disney Sea is part of the Tokyo Disney Resort which does have a flume, so I consider it to have a flume!
GAcoaster Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 I have to believe they wouldn't be removing a water ride without replacing it (they always get the longest lines). Seeing a huge INTAMIN Aqua Trax for the 2007 season would seem kind of a logical move. A water coaster (especially a huge one) would be a great way for Kinzel to go out with a "splash" in '07.
SLUSHIE Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 How can they call removing a ride and building something in its place expansion?
Real Posted October 13, 2005 Author Posted October 13, 2005 I never ride flumes when Im at parks. I hate walking around in wet clothes. If its that hot outside, I dont go to parks. Period. So its no loss for me. Im going to go up and ride it in my rain jacket just to make sure I remember it.
pianojohn Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I really hope they put in another flume soon. The only water rides at the park are Snake River Falls and Thunder Canyon, both of which get you SOAKED. I liked WWL because you could ride it and not worry about getting drenched. Of course, I still miss Shoot the Rapids, the pre-WWL in house built flume ride with wooden troughs and boats. Anybody else remember it? It was AWESOME!
