cal1br3tto Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I don't know if anyone has come across this when at the park, but it is so badass. It plays itself. Cool, very cool. I hope that's permanent, which seems possible as they've got several in storage in addition to the astounding number played daily. The huge Wurlitzer 165 just hangin' out across from Phoenix creeps me the heck out and I won't go near it (not a dig, I'm just weird like that), but I love the tunes it plays!
Jcoaster Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 ^ I can understand that. I can see Knoebels being bery creepy at night time with that music. Like a nightmare.
Nrthwnd Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 ^ That would be great for a Haunt. All that music, playing through the trees. And the mist/fog/stuff. It would definitely raise hairs on the back of my neck if I heard that music playing in such a park, during a Haunt.
Jcoaster Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Yea, that would actually be really creepy, Knoebels is really in such a remote spot. Its crazy.
Jcoaster Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 *Doubles Post* Special thanks to ThemeParkReview for displaying this Trip Report on the main page!
boldikus Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 While I really dislike Yeungling (ok the Black and Tan is alright, lol), this was a great report with some great photos! I really need to get to Knoebels. Thanks for sharing.
Jcoaster Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 I drink Yuengling every now and then. As a home brewer I enjoy seeing how the professionals get it done. Especially Yuengling, a company that has been doing it forever
cfc Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Beer + Knoebels = Win I've never visited the Yuengling Brewery before, but I might have to put it on my agenda.
Jcoaster Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Beer + Knoebels = Win I've never visited the Yuengling Brewery before, but I might have to put it on my agenda. It was definitely a hidden gem.
