Wes Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 How's the battery life? I hate my current Motorola because the battery only lasts about a day and a half with very little actual call usage.
Not For Sale Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 FINALLY I can get a phone that can play my high quality MIDI files
DenDen Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 How's the battery life? I hate my current Motorola because the battery only lasts about a day and a half with very little actual call usage. Well, it seems to be good so far, after doing a full charge at 3pm yesterday, and playing with it a lot, it still says the batery is full. I'm REALLY impressed with this phone now. Excellent reception. Sure beats my old phone, a Keocera Rave. PHOTO REPRT TO COME in a few minutes...
DenDen Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 ok, here we go with the photo report... Things I can't show because I'm waiting to get the accessories via mail are the headgear, PC connection, and MMC memory. Taking a picture of my taking a picture. Isn't it cool? It's very thin and light, even with the case on. It's not a RAZR, but quite comparable, and more sturdy! Menu screen with holographic logo Phone open. (Note the porn I've put on it as soon as I got the darn thing!) Here's the new phone, complete with fabulicious leather case. Total price with $50 trade-in discount-$216
CoasterFanatic Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I don't if I would neccesarily replace my Camera with a 640x480 Phone Camera, but i like the rest of the specs. Also as far as usability, Nokias are about the best. I assume that the phone is unlocked.

Also as far as usability, Nokias are about the best. I assume that the phone is unlocked. I'm not "replacing" the cam really, but nice to have for web-shots when i visit places for reviews, or do "pot-shots" from the coffee-shop on my website. Takes pretty good pics with basic exposure adjustments (day, night, and portrait). As with all phones, the flash really isn't a strobe, it's a white LED, which is pretty useless. The video is as good as a camera phone can get, but I like the audio quality of the video. Very clear. The phone seems to be unlocked, since it lets me change everything and restore factory settings. But I LOVE my phone service, its one of those unlimited plans, I pay by the month, not by the minute, with unlimited SMS. I'm doing a froogle/pricewatch search for accessories now, so much cheaper than buying direct from Nokia!
M_Force_4_ever Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 ^yeah the Nokia cameras seems about as good as a carmera of that qualtiy could get. that looks like a nice phone, congrats!
DenDen Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 I jusy ordered 1GIG of memory for the thing for only $53!!!!!! God, this phone rocks!
SonOfBeastSucks Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Awesome phone! How many songs does it hold?
DenDen Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 The phone itself has 6 MEG, and I'm waiting on my 1 GIG chip, you do the math. But don't forget, the memory also holds pictures, video, and voice also. (Which, i'm getting serious use out of the camera!)
