rcjp Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 ^It does look amazing. Looks like you go/went beyond 90 degrees sometimes. Compared to Iron Dragon (my only suspended coaster) well..... you get it.
fraroc Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 http://rcdb.com/1604.htm Spiral Coaster at Al-Sha'ab Leisure Park in Kuwait has been SBNO for nine years. It's the only Intamin AG "Spiral Coaster" model which is the closest thing we got to an Arrow Pipeline coaster being built in real life.
aCoasterStory Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I know it operated for quite a while, but I'd like to mention Eagle Fortress at Everland in South Korea. Mainly because it looks amazing. Looks to me like it was probably the best Arrow Suspended Coaster ever. It's been SBNO since 2009. rcdb.com/1337.htm This looks absolutely ridiculous. Sad I'll never get to ride it.
WFChris Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Not a coaster but thought I would mention the Rocket Rods at Disneyland only operated for 2 seasons and is still SBNO. I believe that's kinda rare for a Disney park to leave a major ride standing in plain sight that long.
larrygator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) Leap the Dips (Lakemont) was SBNO for 12 years before re-opening. Williams Grove Cyclone has been SBNO since 2006, I'm surprised it hasn't fallen apart yet. But I heard it was almost moved to another location last year. Edited July 1, 2014 by larrygator
deltaelite Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I think Battlestar Galactica (USS) does fits the bill The ride closed just too weeks after the park opens, reopened in Feb 2011 then broke down in July 2013 again! Up till now the ride is still...well...SBNO
Schrecken Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Hypersonic XLC at Kings Dominion only lasted about 6 years, which is a pretty brief amount of time for a brand new coaster to exist at one park (especially considering it was scrapped and not sold and moved somewhere else).
Atter Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Stelath at Californias Great America only operated for 3 years before being moved to Carowinds, I know it's still opened but CGA only had it opened for 3 years, which is weird because it was the first flying coaster.
