PhishyBrewer Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 We had ourselves a good time at the Rhythm and Ribs event held at Raley field today. Enjoy! When at a ballpark, you have to have a hot dog while your there. Giving Anchor Steam THE SHOCKER! My friend Christine and her girlfriend came out for some mid afternoon fun. I may not like living in California, but Sacramento is my kind of town. WTF? Gavin working his arm. Someone forgot to tell Dinger that there wasn't a game today. Ha Ha! The plastic bottles freaked me out though. Yeah! I found some Anchor Steam. Yuck! Miller products. Before you know it, were done. And it was really good. Karen enjoys her meal. Then he finds out that daddy got the hot sauce. Ribs! Gavin can't resist. Gavin finds a new friend. No game today. Actually, no more games for the rest of the year. The River Cats bit it 2 weeks ago in the playoffs. Raley Field. Home of the Sacramento Rivercats and now host to Rhythm and Ribs.
Erik Johnson Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I assume the rhythm part of this activity meant that there was live music. Was there live music there? Anyways fun TR!
Hattuchili Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 WOW, another great photo TR, Wally! I really liked it and the food looked not bad! It made me really hungry, although it is normally time to go to bed. I am glad, you had a good day. However, I think this is your best picture, ever: LMAO, I tasted Miller only one time and never again. That means I understand you! Thanks for posting. --Sören
PhishyBrewer Posted September 24, 2005 Author Posted September 24, 2005 There was live music. Actually there were 2 stages. I just forgot to take pictures. Stupid me

dandaman Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I'm gonna have to agree with the "Designated Smoking Area" pic caption: "WTF?!"
ParkTrips Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Oh man what a great day that must have been with a trio that is hard to beat: baseball, beer, BBQ. Great stuff! Yea, Miller sucks, but I thought that was kind of more like a fact than an opinion
PhishyBrewer Posted September 25, 2005 Author Posted September 25, 2005 ^Yeah... to bad there wasn't a baseball game though. The River Cats couldn't hold on this year. Sacramento River Cats 2003 & 2004 PCL Champs
ParkTrips Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 D'oh! I totally missed that. Shoulda noticed something was missing...
BelizeIt Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Wow! That's a great looking Stadium! I wish I had a AAA Team in my Town! I've always liked the A's, They are one of the best run teams in Baseball.
PhishyBrewer Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 ^One of the worst stadiums in baseball though.
Coaster Palooza Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Nice TR Wally! Those ribs looked sooooo good. I have never been to the Sacramento ballpark. It looks great.
PhishyBrewer Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 ^You'll have to come out for a game next summer. I have access to the best seats there. And special pricing on food and beer. If you did come, you'd might want to take the next day off. Party with me, and you just might have fun and then some
Coaster Palooza Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 You're on! Any plans on coming down to PGA before end of the season?
PhishyBrewer Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 ^We will more than likely be there on Sat Nov 5th. We need to renew ourpasses for next year. It's like $60 for a VIP pass if you renew before Nov 6. Plus were going to hit up Kings Island next year during the week of Coaster Mania. I would count on the 5th though. I'm meeting up with Don some Friday in Oct at SFMW and we will be at Cedar Point the first weekend in Oct. So Oct is pretty busy already. I also need to make it to the Sierra Nevada brewery sometime this fall also. Harvest Ale is being brewed now, and I've been craving it all summer long. You only can get it on tap at the brewery. I'll let you know.
