crispy Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 My neighbor was selling his old Nissan Pathfinder and told me he would give it to me for $600, I was like, "uh OK" it needs a starter, but is a stick, so I drove it around a bit, and it runs pretty good, its old, 1988, it has over 150,000 miles, but it won't be used much, and I think it looks pretty good and the right side, it's still shiny, NEAT! the back The new car in the Driveway
robbalvey Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Damn, we can't even get a plane ticket for $600 and you get a whole freaking CAR!!!!! --Robb "That's sweet!" Alvey

WalrusMan Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Bad thing is.....at most 15 mpg. NEVER DRIVE IT!
Angry_Gumball Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Kinda reminds me of my 1986 S-10 Chevy Blazer. It's just about the same size. I wasn't lucky enough though to get it for $600.
crispy Posted September 20, 2005 Author Posted September 20, 2005 No it should get closer to 20mpg, its a stick, and we won't drive it very often, its kinda the , "OMG we bought to much crap" vehicle
crispy Posted September 23, 2005 Author Posted September 23, 2005 YES!!!! I got the starter replaced, and drove it around yesterday alot, it still needs some minor work, but it runs pretty good, I'm pretty happy
FlyingScooter Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 You got a huge deal on that. At most, a started would cost maybe 300 installed. 150k miles is nothing if it's mostly freeway. Nice.
moinab Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 That's awesome, Chris! Of course, I got a 1996 Sentra for free from one of my classmates. It has over 150K miles, needs a headlight, and the CV joints are shot, but it runs, and it gets 35 mpg!
