Token Yankee Guy
Part 1 So today was the first day back in Maine for me. We left early this morning (of course it took a little longer than I wanted), and we left in the jammed back Jeep for our about 6hr drive to Bangor, Maine which is about 340miles for me. [scroll down for the second part of my post.] Now onto the photos.. Dorm door and closets. The beds and futon Part 1 of our Bell Hall (Bell Hotel) room. We're on the 9th floor so you can't get any better then that. This is what the highway scenery is generally like when travelling I-95 & I-295. Long streches of road with trees on both side and exits far apart. This is the I-95 bridge into Maine, giving access to all Maine Points. Heading out of town on Route 20 towards the expressway which will bring us to I-91. The jeep is jammed pack. You can see the seat in the back where I sat for the first three hours with a bowling ball between my feet. That's pretty much all the stuff i needed to bring. Not including my computer Watching MAD TV while packing. It made the packing go a whole lot faster. Yes, that's Aeries pretending to be George Forman and he's using the George Forman grill to cook a turkey awwww, Trixie wants to join me up in Maine. FU!!! The class was pointless and so where the notes and I got a stupid D in the class Wow, my old notes from Organization & Mangement class from last semester Me starting on packing on Saturday. FYI...That isn't porn on my TV Edited September 6, 2005 by Token Yankee Guy
Louise
1. I've finally found someone with handwriting as bad as mine! I start off so neat at the top, then by the time I'm four lines down the page it's illegible. 2. You say it's not porn... Are you sure?! Just askin cos it certainly appears to involve nudity... QuakerOaties
Glad to see you made it safely back to college. And too bad that wasn't porn on your TV. You might as well get as much porn in as you can before you go back to having a roommate! SLUSHIE
Heh I saw that episode of MadTV today too. The last pic of it you show, where the asian guy was rolling over his car n stuff. I wished I moved and stayed in a dorm. Unfortunatly the college I go to is only a couple blocks from where I live, so I'm staying home!
Hattuchili
Hey Craig, glad you made it back to the college. Now it looks like the hard times will start, again! --Sören
ebl
Interesting...I've never seen anyone flip off paper before... Your highways look really cool. There are some roads like that here in California---mostly up north like in the Sierras (US 395). One of my favorite roads is CA 17 between San Jose and Santa Cruz. That's a pretty drive, though it can be treacherous at night and/or in the fog. Good luck in your studies, Craiggers. Eric
dandaman
FYI, the now-infamous "naked guy" in the first TV pic is Keegan-Michael Key, playing a guy with a shower cap on, giving reviews of movies (at least, that was the one episode I saw of that character), yelling out, "It was CRAZY! CRAZY!"
Token Yankee Guy
Part Two So today all my friends moved in so it was great to see the entire group again after a really long summer. So we decided to celebrate the beginning of school by going bowling then over to Denny's for food. Well, we were originally going to go to the Family Fun Lanes which is 10 pin bowling but after closer inspection of their website I noticed they were closed on Labor Day. So I tried a few places, a few were candle pin. Until I found Old Town Bowling Lanes, so I called them up and didn't ask if it were 10 pin or candle pin. So the convoy of 3 cars takes off towards Old Town. Well, first off this place was really hard to find, it's behind a pizza place and they got this small unlit sign. So we clearly passed it on the first time, so we asked for directions, went back and finally found the place where we found out it was candle pin. But since we were there (and I personally never tried candle pin) we stayed and we had a blast. This place isn't like I'm used to at Bradley Bowl, no one else was there except for the guy watching TV. We did pretty good and it was a lot of fun, I want to do it another time. Then after bowling we went over to Denny's for some breakfast. And it was before 10pm. Now onto pictures. Some of the guys hanging out. And that's it for photos. Here we are at the 24/7 Denny's right off the Hogan Rd. Hehe, 69 was my score Matt picking up a spare, which is hard to do. Even getting a strike is really hard. From left to right: Kim, Cory, Pat, and behind pat is Nick. There's me, and I still manage to kick my leg out like in bowling. My sister throwing a ball down the lane The group of us candlepinning My friend steve in the hallway Does anyone notice what's wrong with this picture? BTW, it was in one of my text books
AllisonY2K
candle pin....never heard of that before. I'm guessing it's not your preferred pin style for bowling? cool pics..and..I've flipped off paper before too.

Yeah, we got duckpin (small and fat pins and you throw small balls), candle pin, and regular ten pin. Candle Pin is more of a craze up here in Maine since I was told there are a lot of bowling lanes that have it. And it's really not my preferred pin style for bowling, but I did enjoy myself. Hattuchili
Hey Craig, and again, nice photo TR. I am glad, you had a good evening, with a better breakfast. I think the bowling centre looks very old. I hope you will finde another place for the next time! --Sören
Token Yankee Guy
^ Oh don't worry, Family Fun lanes is a 10 pin alley that isn't far. on a side note, here's what candle pins look like From: www.kinglanes.com You can see why it's hard to get a perfect game, even if you throw the ball straight down the middle of the lane, possible chances you'll just hit the pins in the middle leaving a nice gap. F1shy
Ah, nice. I bet I could get a strike every time! You know how good I am at Candle Pinning! Hahaha... and 69 IS the best score you can get!
