In addition, you are out of a job and have to put that name on all your job applications... making it nearly impossible to land an interview. What's worse than the local community college dropping a class you need to graduate two semesters in a row. In addition, your advisor retired and the school hasn't issued you a new one yet... so you can't talk to anybody about it. Finally, you were supposed to graduate in December... but that isn't going to happen now. (True story...)

Then the year of your graduation, one of the required courses is dropped from the college, but not for the major. So now you can't graduate and you have to look at other colleges for this one class that other local schools don't seem to have either. (True story, though it didn't happen to me, it was my girlfriend's brother). What's worse than a coworker coming to work wearing a "novelty singing tie" and keeps playing the thing around the office?
