Whenever I see you on your worldwide ventures, I've wondered how you organized everything from transportation to ERT to lodging.

My question is, does it take a ton of work to pull off a TPR trip?

^But more than that...because when you plan a trip for yourself you're not having to provide rooming lists to the hotels you're staying at, signing contracts with parks your visiting, etc. So more like times 500!

I know, it's kind of a dumb question. I have always just been curious about what happens when you plan things like this.

It's not even something we can put into words. It's like if someone asked me "So, what goes into making a video game", it's like, there is so much work, and so many little details that it would far to long to write out and explain.

Go on a TPR trip and you'll get an idea....

Robb - I don't think just participating in a trip gives everyone a full understanding of all you and Elissa do. I think you need to adopt this clueless soul.

Lots of booze.

Seriously though. It's definitely one of those things that should come with a "don't try this at home" disclaimer. They work their asses off to plan the best trips.

^ Agreed!

Go on a trip. Take a few minutes and watch Robb and Elissa to see what they are doing. They are ALWAYS working on the trips, which makes them INCREDIBLE.

And don't forget, in order to host a quality event/trip it also requires the ability to generally ignore the asshats that don't understand or appreciate the work that does go into it. To me, dealing with the "haters" who don't recognize the business aspect of things is what is most admirable about what they do.

How long does it take to plan a trip?

Also do you plan on going on anywhere new in the future?

Also I think the "Haters" go a bit far, I have seen a Google group about TPR, It was just quite funny how pathetic some of it was!
