Hi everybody !

I'm going to WDW in two weeks, i'll also go to Busch Gardens tampa and Island of adventure (I'm skipping universal studios main park because i've already been to the Hollywood one...am I making a mistake?)

I have a question about fastpass... At Disneyland I often use fastpass after the "time-windows" indicated on the fastpass... do u know if at Walt Disney World that trick will work too ?...

If you have any tip about how to get cheap tickets for busch gardens and island of adventure, it would be great too !

First time at busch gardens and island of adventure, i'm so excited!!!

Anything else not to miss ? or other tips ?

Thanks !

We used our fast passes an hour after the stated times, no worries there.

Universal Orlando offers you the option of buying a pass good for both parks in the same day, if you're crushed for time. I'd say not to miss it, just for the few different rides and shows.

have you booked a room? if not may I recommend villadirect.com for a condo ir house. Unless you just have to have that DISNEY PARK hotel, this is the way to go. We've done it every time we've gone to Orlando and have never regretted once.

Yeah you can use the fast-passes after the time posted at WDW as well. Though I never tried to use past-time express passes at Universal or IOA before. Make sure you get a fast-pass first thing for Soarin at Epcot, since the lines can be quite long. Busch Gardens does not have any type of fast pass system, but the crowds will not be too bad in two weeks at any of these parks. If you are a AAA member you can get discounted ticket prices (though not for Disney). I recommend going to Universal as well, you actually can do all the big attractions in one day (Universal and IOA) if you go during a weekday. While I never been to Universal Hollywood, everyone seems to say that the Florida one a quite a bit better. Honestly if you are pressed for time if there are any parks you need to skip, it would be Animal Kingdom (Though you can do it in half-a-day). I think Busch Gardens is much better, plus they have a better selection of rides (I am glad you are going to Busch Gardens). If you have any other questions (other than hotel since I never stay in any of em in Florida), ask away.

^ I'd definatly second that. The on-site hotels are very nice, and you feel like a VIP at the parks, with your key card. Waits for the Express lines are almost always fifteen mintues or less, and that's for the totally amazing rides at Universal. The parks are also walking distance from the hotels.

Thanks you guys for your tips !

Actually, I'm sleeping every night at Pop century resort at Disney (it's cheap, clean and fun !, second time there)... I'll rent a car to go at Busch and Island of adventure... so too bad for the vip express key... anyway I don't think it will be crowded at all... I hope so...

There's one little thing... I would really like to go and both Universal Studios and Island of adventure in one day... but I don't see that kind of ticket on internet... I heard that there was a 1 day / 2 park ticket available only at the gates at the park.. Is it true ?

If not, I'll buy only one day to island of adventure...

... and what is the most romantic restaurant in WDW ? like the blue bayou (the one in pirates of caribeean in disneyland)...

10 days ! Can't hardly wait !

oh and one last question.... I would really like to go at an ocean beach near Orlando... any warm and beautiful beach in the area ?

There are soooo many romantic restaurants at Walt Disney World...what kind of food are you interested in? What kind of atmosphere? Near or in which park?

When you get to Universal, you can buy a 1 or 2 day ticket that includes both parks. I bought one at IOA and we went over to Studios that night to ride Mummy.

There are indeed a lot of good restaurants at WDW, but my pick would be California Grill in the Contemporary. You will have to dress up, and it's not cheap, but the food is absolutely amazing, and the view from the windows is fantastic. Highly recommended.
