crispy Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 (edited) Well the first competiton went great, but some were a bit frustrated at the difficulty, so we made this one a bit easier, and also made the 10x20 a maximum size, meaning that the coaster does not need to fill the entire space, but cannot exceed it alright then THE RULES: READ CAREFULLY, AS THERE HAS BEEN SOME CHANGES All entries must be submitted by August 30th If you have any questions at all, please feel free to PM, me or pucechan Here is a rundown of the competition * Build a 10x20 Standard Steel Inverted coaster, B&M type, or like the Batman Coasters at SixFlags * The Coaster Must have an excitement rating above 6, and an intensity below 8. * The entrance and exit must be functional, and inside the 10x20 square, no paths should be built however * No tunnels or scenery of any kind * Competition is open to RCT3,and RCT2. RCT1 owners need to pm me or pucechan if they want to enter., RCT2 and 3 owners should build the coasters in the coaster designer provided in the game * All entries must be received within one week of this date. or August 30th, All entries will then be placed in a poll and voted on by TPR members with a one week voting window * To submit your entry, Attach the TD6(RCT2), or TRK(RCT3) file along with at least one picture with your submission post * When posting your coaster picture it MUST have the coasters ratings in the picture * Winners will receive a Award Banner stating they are the RCT Coaster Challenge Champion, with a date on it * Only one entry per person REMEBER TO NAME YOUR COASTER, AS THAT IS HOW IT WILL BE LISTED IN THE VOTING. It has a pretty fast lift but I couldn't get one of the inversions without it. Hope you like my submission... Schizophrenia. Just BTW... (from dictionary.com) schiz·o·phre·ni·a n. 1. Somehow it seems kinda appropriate to me... Hopefully I don't offend anyone... Good picture but I will post a better one showing off some of the elements later. Can someone try this and just check for me?

crispy Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 it should be easier than the last one, remember to keep the coasters speed in check, you can't go flying throuhg barrel rools at 60MPH and expect it to have an intesity under 8

Heaven & Hell - which would have made more sense as 2 coasters but hey, the angelic parts are all high up and the hell parts are the fiercer sections down lower. it made sense at the time. It doesn't take the last loop too well, but it's the best I could do - it has some nice swoops and helices! TIP FOR RCT2 USERS: Keep the ride short-ish, don't go over 4 inversions, don't put in a Corkscrew! That just about got me under 8 intensity!
