Ledgy
While watching a coaster expedition dvd of Japan I aked myself, visited Kidtums in her age now all three continents of the world - except Australia and afrika?!? How many different countries she already has visited now? She isn´t only the princess of coasters, she rules the world! Amazing. Ledgy
Wow, thats really amzing! I traveled a lot with my parents, I guessed until now LOL, you count in Jeff Johnson Credits, too! Love that
cobra_roll06
Just FYI, you missed Wales! Easily done since it's not a "real" country anyway! That must be some sort of record for someone of her age!
SharkTums
^LOL, do you think I should count Wales? Or is that more like a Jeff Johnson Country Credit?!?!
ParkTrips
Its not like its some stupid European principality At least I still have her in US State and roller coaster credits... of course I also have her by 21 years so that kinda helps
cobra_roll06
^^ Hey I'm going to Wales for the first time next month (just for Oakwood) and I'm sure as hell counting it!
SharkTums
Fine fine, I have updated her count to include Wales...the Welsh should be so proud right now!
Fran1962
^ I have no idea why, but I'm glad you're counting Wales. Maybe because they have a place called Coney there. Even if it's not Coney Island, you have to give them Kudos for having a place named Coney Beach. What a GREAT education Kidtums is getting, I just know besides having AWESOME parents and grandparents, all the traveling she has done and will do will serve her well. sspaz1000
Wow, look at KT's stats. I had actually been wondering about this. Now this just makes me want to travel even more Nicole
SharkTums
At first I would have some people 'judge' us on her travel and say things like "She won't remember any of this", "you're just wasting your money" and crap like that...it's all been justified though!!! The other day her preschool teacher came up to me and told me the best story: They were reading a book in class about the moon and what it looks like all over the world. Apparently some of the places were Big Ben, the Eifel Tower, and the Great Wall of China...in each case Kristen would chime in saying how she's been there and what country those places were in, etc. I was so proud, yet it was slightly awkward as the preschool teacher chimed in that THEY hadn't even been to those places!!! I really believe that even if down the road she doesn't remember every detail of these trips they still will have shaped her in some way. Whether it be hearing other languages from a young age, understanding how cultures differ, etc.
sspaz1000
I can't believe people would judge. She may not remember completely, but like you said, she'll be shaped by it. And even if she doesn't remember you've got pictures Even at her age they are all learning experiences. Nicole
SharkTums
^Do you have any kids? Mom's seem to be some of the rudest most judgemental people I've met!!! It's actually a bit scary. I have like two 'mom friends' and that's it!

I have like two 'mom friends' and that's it! No kids, quite single actually. Kids tend to cry or scream when they come anywhere near me. I have seen on my Facebook page that the people who are my age who have kids (and more than 1) seem to be quite judgemental to each other. I just don't get it. Is it like parents just want to be in their minds "the best" and anything that's different than their style is wrong or something? I just don't understand why people would be rude to each other that way though. Nicole

I really believe that even if down the road she doesn't remember every detail of these trips they still will have shaped her in some way. Whether it be hearing other languages from a young age, understanding how cultures differ, etc. Like I wrote in a past topic somewhere, I were in a relationship with a small child. He grow up with me from 8month, to the age of 8. Now he will be 10 and I feel still, like he´s my adopted son and our contact is very good, same with my ex girlfriend. We start traveling like you in the very early years with him - most times in the europe region, but to different regions. Would have done more like you, if it were possible to us. By the way, he will visit the states this year for his first time. Like you said, the teachers recognized that early, cause Luca got many impressions and different cultures he learned from and he´s still so interested in cultures and countries. He lost some memories about details, but can remember every place he was and if you talk about some memories, they often came back... So I agree in your opinion. And you can be proud mum - I´m sure you´re - that your parents are also with you on this journeys. They´re so nice and I guess these are all amazing times for Kristen. BTW, you have a really cute and nice daughter - she´s looking like a best of you and Robb together... so cute - Cause of smoking and my language issues, I myself was a little bit shy, to speak more to you and especially to Kristen and was afraid of disturbing you and her and being a bad influence. I often watched at her and you, while she was playing or something else and loved to see such a great mum and dauther - she looked always proud and happy with you. Robb, I saw you playing with her, too. So you´re also included in my compliments - so please don´t feel offended. I guess, Kristen will later teach their teachers P.S.: Is there a way to adopt me, so I can get on all your travels
SharkTums
^Don't worry about the smoking! I've taught her that even though some of her 'tpr friends' smoke, that it's very bad and she can never do it! Although if she ever starts I'll know exactly who to blame!!!
Ledgy
At Windsor, after the Wagagagaga-restaurant - was it called wagamama?... I smoked outside and she came with Kathryn and told me that I´m not allowed to smoke over there. - There were a sign, which told that it´s not allowed into these shopping area it isn´t allowed. I stood outside, but no matter. Can´t resist her and followed her instructions and made the cigaret off, I just fired up Said to her, that she is right with her opinion. She was so shy telling me that - Katrhyn animates her to do - , but after I followed her instruction she get so proud. It was nice to see

And I totally think these experiences will make her a better person as she grows older. She might not remember them, but they'll be there, and I think will help her be more curious about the world and how she interacts with it. Of course, it also helps that KidTums has parents that are NOT complete and total morons, unlike just about every other parent on Earth (if you do not believe this theory, go to the grocery store for an hour, and watch what is considered "parenting" by most humans. You'll be calling for the insertion of birth control substances into the water supply in no time). I am still determined to teach her about good music, though. She'll be the only kid rocking the Diablo Swing Orchestra t-shirt in first grade... dt

moinab
^ Yeah, other moms totally suck. People are so freaking insecure, they can't accept that any method of child-rearing other than the one they use could possibly result in a happy, well-adjusted child. We catch the occasional flak for Todd being a stay-at-home dad. People will say to me, "doesn't he want to work?"
downunder
I think an even more vital statistic for KT is height, I know she's not the least bit intimidated by an angry Italian L & T Mouse but do you think she might be a little hesitant when she hits the 48" and 54" limits for the really big coasters? I have to say that KT has been fantastically well behaved and delightful on all the trips I've done since 2007, and I'm amazed how she can remember everyone's name.
