10ryansmith Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 ^^ I have these around here somewhere. They are really neat. I tried to find more of them but could not as well.
thrillrider Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Yea, these cards are kinda neat. Not sure why they did not do another set of them, as I hear a lot of people bought these.
IBtacoDave Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 It appears that you can still order a set here. I can't vouch for the reliability of the store but their ebay feedback is excellent. Thanks for these updates!
thrillrider Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Yea, that's the 2001 set. The same set that I have. Looking at that website made me laugh. They have wacky packages. I still have a bunch of those.
thrillrider Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Not really coaster related, but after I saw that wacky pack, I thought I would share a few of them on here. I also threw in some garbage pail kids after I saw the "Rob" wearing mickey mouse ears. I think the Rob one is funny.
thrillrider Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Next up, I have a magic mountain booklet fromm 2001. On the map, you can see the drop tower, x, psyclone, flashback, and a few flat rides that are no longer there. Front of booklet. Inside map. Back of booklet.
thrillrider Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Next up, I have the 2002 park operations manual from cedar point. I will scan a bunch of pages, and post them.
thrillrider Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Here are a few pages to start things out. This book is HUGE. It's like a phone book. Stay tuned....more to come. Storm info. This is the daily operational report. Each ride has to fill one of these in. It records the number of riders, and any issues with the ride. You better behave, or your going to get points. The power loop.
thrillrider Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 I find it funny that they tell the toll booth people to take cover in the toll booth, even though there is a office building right there. And in locations in the park, they tell people to stay away from glass. But the toll booths are made of all glass.
CorkscrewFoley Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Jeez, they wouldn't stand a chance of one ever touched down in the parking lot. I'd like to think if I have to put up with a tornado, I want a sporting chance, damnit. Keep it up Dave, I'm enjoying this...oh, and I have that same SFMM park map too.
thrillrider Posted July 28, 2010 Author Posted July 28, 2010 Thank you. I will post a bunch more pages tomorrow. I am being lazy tonight.
bgwfreak777 Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I see the 5 points for No call/No show isn't a new rule.
