I told them I was going to be living in Ireland for the summer working for Guinness. I had to stop it when I got a call from my dad in California congratulating me. That's the meanest prank I've ever heard of, but I've never had the guts to do it. Anyway, I actually haven't gotten the effects of the holiday yet. Absolutely nothing has happened. Maybe it's just because It's spring break, and I've been at home all day, but I know my sister is better than this. Nobody at my table wanted them when she stopped after like, 5 of them. Nobody else at my school really did anything, and I didn't even realize it was April Fool's until 4th period! Angry_Gumball Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 My mom pulled a good one on me. Just a couple weeks ago, I owed like $1600 for my classes and then was taken care of via financial aid. Today, I get a text saying that I owe that amount and is due next week. Of course, I fell for it. I also pulled a great one which nearly had me falling off my chair at work today. While he was out at lunch, I had the brilliant idea of doing a screenshot of whatever program he had up and running, and set it as the background. About 3 hours later when he minimized the rest of his programs, he was greeted by this "frozen program," followed by rapidly clicking to close out the window, doing CTRL ALT DEL, and the whole works. In the mean time, my supervisor and I are almost in tears while trying not to let our laughs out. Finally, I spilled the beans with an "April Fools." Was a great prank! His eyes were slightly red and he was acting very serious about it, saying that he had been claimed to have shown inappropriate videos and the front office called for him. He went for 30 minutes, came back with his eyes really red, and solemnly said "April Fools Day." Everybody was SO surprised! He made it look so real. He said he went into the bathroom and rubbed his eyes a bunch to make it look like he was crying. I can't believe everybody (and me) fell for it, since out of all the days of the year this "event" happens. The whole new character thing with the voting and everything was just a great big April Fool’s hoax! And a pretty good one wouldn’t you say? Yeah, it took a lot of work and a whole month to set up to pull off, but we think it was worth it. There’s no way we would be able to introduce any new characters after all this time. It would disrupt the delicate balance of things in the Happy Tree world… and c’mon a pickle? Really, do you think we would have a character that carried around a pickle? Even we have standards.
