ChrisZer0 Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 For me, it was a Shiner Blond. Brewed in the spoetzel brewery in shiner. http://www.shiner.com/beers/beers-home.html See ya'll at shinerfest!
PhishyBrewer Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 ^ Australian International Beer AwardsBronze Medal, Shiner Blonde—Pilsner Lager WTF? This beer is brewed in Texas right? Sounds tasty. Have you tried Ziegen Bock? http://ziegenbock.com/
Hattuchili Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 OMG, there are so many beer sorts, that sounds very German, like Ziegen Bock! --Sören
PhishyBrewer Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 ^Bock beer is a popular style here in the states. What I really want to see is a good Dortmunder.
Hattuchili Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Yeah, today I had another good cold Paulaner Hefeweizen - dark! --Sören
PhishyBrewer Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 (edited) It's like he never moved  Edited October 3, 2005 by PhishyBrewer
What Now Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 ^ That's what I was thinking! I had a Boddington Pub Ale last night. It's bitter, yet has a sweet aftertaste.
Hattuchili Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 ^^ Yeah, I sat there for more then 24 hours! No, I sat there one day and another, but yes, it looks very similar! --Sören
4718 Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Ha! Soren's the biggest couch potato here, and was too lazy to change clothes or something........weirdness right there. I think he just photo-chopped the color of the beer in the glass, but he's holding the bottle ever so slightly different. Anyway, my last beer was a Guinness Extra Stout. Not really into beer, but it was sure better than Heineken and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale I blew my cash on a month ago. The dark color was a bit different too, but it was sure a lot smoother than the other two.....might have to try regular Guinness if I find it around town, might change my feelings toward beer if it's good enough.
Hattuchili Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Okay, I will never post a beer photo again! --Sören
PhishyBrewer Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 ^Aww... please Soren. Please still post your beer photos. We love you
4718 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 ^Aww... please Soren. Please still post your beer photos. We love you Yeah, even better would be some "Beer-fore and after" shots!
4718 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Just had a 16oz Grolsch, it was okay, but I mainly got it for the super cool bottle....that old school top was so cool to pop open!
PhishyBrewer Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I've wanted to try this beer for a very long time. But because of it's limited production, it is always in short supply. Anchor Brewing Co's Old Foghorn Barleywine Style Ale Let me just say this, it is the best tasting barleywine I have ever had! Coming in at 8.8%abv, this rich ale has plenty of taste without the harsh alcohol burn. It's still a sipping beer. Meant to be enjoyed, and not enhaled. And when it cost $14.99/ six-pack you better enjoy it. You'd think Anchor is paying me or something for showing you that I enjoy all their beers. Old Foghorn Barleywine Style Ale form Anchor Brewing Co of San Francisco, CA
PhishyBrewer Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 "Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me!" Damn this is some stong stuff.
4718 Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Had a Guinness Draught tonight, didn't feel like drinking it in a can so I poured it in a nice Coke cup. Really smooth, much better than the Extra Stout I think, might have to be my standard when I feel like a brewsky every once in a while!
Hattuchili Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Remember Wally, no more beer photos! --Sören Today I had a good wine!
PhishyBrewer Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 But I didn't... uh, alright. Now I'll have to drink wine all the time just to fit in. :?
Hattuchili Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 ^ LOL, No more beer pictures in the "What Was the Last Beer You Drank?" thread! Hmm okay, I don´t think so! --Sören
PhishyBrewer Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Mmm... Cedar Point Goodness! Leave for my flight in just 12 hours!
Hattuchili Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Hey Wally, what have I seen in that picture? Okay, two things! First of I see a picture of a hot chick! Not bad! Second I see a picture of me in one of your pictures! That is so cool! --Sören
PhishyBrewer Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 ^Karen bought me a life size cut-out of Bettie Page last year for Christmas. She was a pin-up girl from the 50's. She's like my dream girl. As for the picture of you, that was just completely random. Or was it?
Hattuchili Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Actually, that's me in the background. Wow, you looks really hot as Bettie Page! --Sören
