This is a coaster that I got started, forgot, and started again. It is a recreation of Patriot at Worlds of Fun. It is currently a work in progress. Constructive criticism is welcome.

EDIT: I have more pics, please tell me if you'd like to see more.

Again, it could just be the angle, but the tilt loop thing that is after the immelmann has a steeper degree of banking. From my pictures and experience, it looks to me like that turn has roughly a 75-80 degree pitch, yours seems to be in the 60's.

Besides that, it looks fantastic.

Thank you for your kind words at my horrible skills.

From riding it many times I think it is about 68 degrees and thats what its at. It looks right from roughly eye level where the gift shops at and several other angles. It feels on the simulator that its right but ill try a higher banking later just to check. But...I could be wrong.

EDIT: Everything is hand built except like 10 supports so it may not be very accurate. I dont have AHG or anything like that. I only use what the Editor provides(im anti calculations+numbers=probably huge mistake).

Oh, by no means am I calling you a horrible builder at all, I think you have done great so far. You have more guts than me too, I don't think I could ever accurately recreate a coaster.

From this picture I have taken though, it just seems to be a little steeper than what you currently have.

Actually...i was just looking at pictures of Patriot's over-banked turn and I defiantly agree now it needs to be changed. And so do a few immalmann/loop supports. But I wont fix it tonight, my head feels like it just went through this:

EDIT: Themeparkman25: Should i make it taller as well?

Since you say you've ridden this so much, shouldn't you know that the zero-g-roll goes to the right, not the left?

^Crap! Thank you, I didn't catch that! I totally forgot about that (like I stated earlier, it is a work in progress and the project was forgotten about for quite some time). It will be fixed tomorrow, time allows.

Don't expect anything spectacular, there will be a few mistakes, but the big ones will be fixed.

EDIT: I didn't even get on a computer until now so of course its not fixed yet.

The entrance looks good, but there looks like there's a little bump on the exit.

Sorry about double posting but the last post was made last year. Hmmm...I wonder if that means it's a dead thread...

Anyways, for all the whiners of the world, UPDATE TIME!!!! I hope you think it's better!

EDIT: Please give critisism in a constructive manner!

The pullout from the first drop looks a bit strange and stretched out...it may just be the screenshot, though.

Looking good, though!

Look at the rcdb page for reference. The zero-g looks too stretched, and the loop pulls out faster than it does pulling up, take a look.

Also, the track doesn't turn so quickly after the loop, there's a slight straight away before a slight right turn, yours looks like it happens too quickly. This is just what I remember from riding it.

use this to sort of guide yourself. It's not the best picture but it will help place everything.

^I know. It was a short term solution to the sim making the overall length almost 75 feet too short. It's fixed now but I'm too lazy to post an update.

EDIT: By the way, Patriot sits on a hill if you didn't know. Mine might not be like the real terrain.

A good idea would be to keep all the land flat, get the right height of everything, or close, and then if you want mess around with the terrain.

Are you going to theme this? Because that would be awesome. The patriot is really fun, it's a good addition to WOF. This seems just about perfect.

Just something small I noticed, does the zero-g seem stretched out to anyone?

Take a look, I know this is Talon, but it's similair to Patriot (I can't seem to find a good pic of Patriot's 0g)

The entry/exit is steeper and it starts flipping before it has leveled out. Yours looks a little bit like a rct2 zero-g.
