CoasterLover Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Link to Article: Six Flags to discount season passes in 2010 Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, whose parent company is reorganizing in bankruptcy court, will discount its prices for season passes in 2010 to offset the impact of the slow economy, an executive said. Meanwhile, the amusement park said its newest attraction next season will be a 60-foot funnel-shaped water ride called the Tornado that will be added to the Hurricane Harbor water park." All I can say is... it's about time! Almost surprised that it took this long, but this will certainly add some new life to NJ's SFHH!
larrygator Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Agreed it was conspicuous that as a separate gate water park they did not have this attraction.
Speeddeamon128 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 It is good to see GADV's HH finally get a new attraction.
sfgadviperboi Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Well with this addition, Houdini re-opened, now all we need are the Swings and Bumper Cars back and we may have a full fledged park again. I would also like the Scrambler back but maybe in two seasons. I'll cut them a break next season.
Jerrykoala2112 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 All I can say is that. The one at SFGAM, is SUPER popular. I think it was installed in 2006. And had like a 45 minute line. And not it is still a long line. But I hate that you have to carry the 4 parson raft yourself..
Thelegendarymatthew Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 ^Yeah, they should get the elevator raft lifters, ya know like the ones at Great Wolf Lodge. I guess SFGAdv ISN'T getting that record breaking dive machine *glares at SFGAdv fanboys*
Guest Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Lol. That's Gadv Fanboy to you and I think your going to be impressed with what we get in 2011!
Vintage Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 ^ Watch it be a land of kiddie coasters. And cool, I love those Tornado rides, we have one at Wet N' Wild here in Orlando, it's called "Brain Wash," it's my favorite ride there.
Zack44 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 All I can say is that it's about damn time. I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since something new was added to HH, I'm so excited.
