What Coaster Is This?

Any ideas on what coaster this is? It's been bugging me since I first saw the album art.

I could be wrong, but it looks like a drawing to me. Perhaps it isn't a picture of a coaster.

A lot of it looks to be drawn except for the pier.

I'd go with it not being a real place, possibly just a bunch of stock photos that have been photoshopped together to make a pier fairground.

Did the Pavilion have a Ferris wheel like the one pictured?

It looks like the Santa Monica Pier. Except, that coaster is certainly not the one that actually exists at the pier. Perhaps they took a photo of the pier, and then drew in the attractions afterwards.

Yeah, it's not Santa Monica Pier as the park doesn't have any of those attractions.

 

I'm going with either a photoshop job or a painting.

Like Robb said, this is most likely a drawing or painting. It does not look like the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk to me. The picture that you posted is taken from the beach looking back. SCBB does not go out over the water.
