I went to BGE today.

or?

I WENT TO FREEKIN BGE TODAY, and I 'm so THRILLED!

If you picked choice two that you are correct.

I went to BGE today, but first I had to go down the 1 1/2 hour drive to get there from my house, but luckily I had my ipod so I was listening to Metallica songs on the way down.

The first thing we did when we got there was wait in the parking line, to wait in the tram line, to wait in the pass line, then to go in the check bag line, and finally the front gate. I did do some wandering around for a bit, but at least I was getting some pictures in .I then rode Nessie 2 times, and headed to Alpengeist. The park was really, really crowded than normal, but hey its spring break.

Before I rode the white invert, I rode the log flume, as it had no line. My sister lost her phone in the water, and blamed me for not buying a locker. Then I head to Alpi, waited for about 35mins in line. (If your at BGE, that is a short line) I met a coaster enthusiast whos on Coaster Crazy, and we talked the entire time. Then he told me the stats about the ride, which had me shocked, so we got in the front, and had a good ride. It was running smooth except for the cobra roll.

Then I finally got my Griffon credit. The ride was a bit intense on the end seat. I love the end seat in the front for sure . Which is why Griffon kicks what ever was number two in my top 10 list. It also made think BGE is better than KD. I love Griffon!

Then I couldn't ride BBW, so I headed too Italy. Rode a few flats, and the new kiddie coaster too. In Italy you only have one side thats themed to Italy, and the other feels like you average park midway. Apollo had a line of 75 mins, so I didn't go, but I did head over to Pompeii. I did not get that wet on it as I thought I would.

Then I headed towards GAT and its an ok kiddie coaster, just a lift and two helix's, nothing special. I then got on board LNM on more time, and it started raining hard while we where in the back . . . .OUCH! Then we left the park, and I fell alseep in the car.

Anybody else find it funny that a post made by the guy who 'Does not respect the Title Fairy' was first responded to by the 'Title Fairy kiss ass?'

Hey, quick question for those that've been to the park in recent years:

I haven't been there since '95, and am going on Friday. Do they still allow loose articles in the stations or do they have a lame locker policy like Six Flags?

I do hate buying a locker, but truthfully it's better. You don't hold up a whole train of riders ready to go so you can put all your crap in a cubby.

Busch Gardens-

Pro- Quick loading/dispatch Con- pay for a locker each time

King's Dominion-

Pro- Cubbies, don't have to pay for a locker Con- SLOW dispatch/load times.

^^ Last time I went (08), people were required to keep some loose articles like hats and sunglasses on. Not sure about other loose articles like cell phones and wallets, but if you can keep them in a secure place like a zippered or buttoned pocket, you should be fine.
