ebl
I think the tailcam is a great idea, and I'm surprised that other airlines haven't done anything like that yet. A "pilotcam" would be a great thing as well, allowing passengers to see what the pilot sees. Eric
OldJJman
Very cool Cameron!! I would love to see the TailCam* used on any flight! Thanks for sharing! JJ *This is NOT to imply that I'd like to see Cam's tail ever. Unlike Lou.
Gav
"pilotcam" would be a great thing as well, allowing passengers to see what the pilot sees. I was actually doing some random wiki-ing the other day, and I discovered that JAL actually have this feature, and it is in fact fairly common on Japanese airlines; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Airlines#Aircraft_cameras
Jew
I love it when airlines do cool things like the tail cam. The only thing I enjoy about flying United is channel 7, where you can listen to the radio communications of the plane.
Sticky Nicky
I would love to be able to fly on one of these monstrous beasts. The free stuff and movies seems pretty nice but the best feature defiantly is that wing camera. It would be cool if a lot more airplanes could have these nifty cameras installed. texashorns82492
Not a huge fan of Airbus, but the A380 is such a beautiful airplane. I'd love to fly on one eventually! Great photos and hope you enjoy your stay!
Cameron
Nearly all of the entertainment is standard Qantas, and is actually available on many of their 747s .. Obviously not the TailCam or seat-seat chat, but certainly all the movies and TV shows. I'll be flying back to the US next weekend on a 747, so I'll be able to compare what they have to offer. The entertainment is so rich that I don't even bring books anymore (too heavy to schlep). As cool as the A380 was, the 747s are still my favorite! Cameron. Eric When I flew to Beijing in 2003 the Austrian Airlines A330 had this feature. Was pretty cool when landing (While looking out for the Great Wall too )
