BlackHole2005 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I havn't been to any of these parks, so I can't really say much but... SAM CASSEL COME HOME!
larrygator Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I signed up 10 days ago but I have watched this site for a long time. I like it and most people on it:) Anyway here is why I think KI might take the #2 title from MM. Invertigo < Deja vu Riddlers Revenge > KI has nothing to compare X2> backlot stunt coaster however: Vortex > Viper Firehawk > Tatsu Racers > Colossus Flight Deck > Ninja and very soon: Diamondback > Goliath not to mention the classic Beast and the numerous flats that MM lacks. Don't get me wrong I love MM, but I think KI is closing in on it. JMO btw- Sam Cassell was one hell of a basketball player. X2, BTR, Goliath, Scream and Riddlers Revenge and Tatsu are far better than any coaster currently installed at King's Island. That can not be made up with one coaster. Uh oh - I think I got the wrong alien baller
Wes Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Both parks have a VERY mediocre collection of rides. To be honest, I disliked almost every single coaster at KI, except for the night rides on Beast (which was more due to it being the last night of the TPR MW trip than anything). SFMM is mediocre too, but does have some bright spots. Diamondback is def a step in the right direction but it will take more for KI to be better. ALSO SAM CASSELL TESTICLE DANCE
terrancew_hod Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 ^Ha! We're on the same wavelength! I couldn't find any popcorn, so I had to settle for Sun Chips. Knew this would be a lively, lovely topic. Is there anyway we can sticky this as a reminder?
robbalvey Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I signed up 10 days ago but I have watched this site for a long time. I like it and most people on it:) coolcalicoaster, first off, welcome to TPR. Secondly, I think the reason why you received such a bad response to your thread is because, well, quite frankly your initial post wasn't very informative or descriptive. If you have been reading the TPR forums for any length of time you would know that threads that do well are ones that are well written, not just one or two sentences about a topic with little to no information included. We also have had so many "what is your favorite" or "compare these parks/coasters" threads that we really don't need any more. These kinds of threads have been done to death. As for this thread, I'm going to close it now and I would suggest using some of the more popular threads as a guideline for future posts. Please also be sure to read our posting rules and ToS. --Robb
